Cabin vacation rentals in Mandeville

Our family of 7 stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Louisiana Castle. We had plenty of room for hair and make-up and spending time together before the wedding. The kitchen is great for cooking. I recommend to anyone physically fit enough to climb stairs.

The sweet little container home was perfect for the two nights stay for my husband, myself, and our pup. My opinion would be that this particular unit would be only for one or maybe two adults and a smaller dog. The listing is very accurate and they make sure that you know that it is a very tiny place and what to expect. I booked knowingly as we were there only for two nights to have Thanksgiving with my best friend in Mandeville, Louisiana and it was right up our budget alley. We were happy to stay here and experience a container style/tiny home style experience.

Will was very accommodating considering the area had the biggest snow storm since 1895 happen days before our check in. We were struggling to figure out how to get there with every interstate closed. He allowed us to cancel and not lose money. We will definitely be rebooking to have our weekend getaway as planned minus the snow!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It was warm, homey, had a very comfortable bed and couch. We had plenty of beautiful sights to go see around the cabin within walking distance. Our pup really enjoyed getting to meet Beau and play with him. David was a wonderful host and made sure we were satisfied with our stay and asked if we needed anything at all. I appreciate a host that goes above and beyond with checking on their guests. We will absolutely stay here next time for our next event in this area!

We went to celebrate two of our birthdays and it was a great getaway! Bill answered all of our questions before we arrived, and sent us detailed instructions for how to get there. Home was an easy drive from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and was easy to find. You can see their deer and blueberry fields out of the window- and the kids loved feeding the deer. Easy to navigate hiking trails, fishing pond, picturesque views, and boats made our outdoor adventures fun and great for pictures. The fireplace made it extra cozy, and bathrooms were clean and large. Spiral staircase is a bit tricky, so just be sure the people using the two bedrooms upstairs are ok with steep, windy stairs. Other than that it was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!

Great place out in the swamp, just off I-55. The place was meticulously cleaned, and well-stocked. Just what we wanted.

Wow! So happy we decided to stay in the Peace of Soul Treehouse. Amazing location very close to town and Bogue Chitto State Park. A great space to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature. A little chilly in the winter but it creates a great opportunity to light a fire or cozy up to the one you love. Katherine is a great host and responded timely to any questions that arose. Would definitely stay again.
