Definitely one of the best possible lodgings in Srinagar. Besides being very budget friendly, staying in a houseboat is truly a great experience when staying at the capital of Kashmir. Javeed was a very great host and helped me in everything I needed (including when I felt sick in the middle of the night, thanks for that haha). The family atmosphere is very great and makes you really feel in touch with traditional Kashmiri culture. Having dinner with the host family is highly recommended, truly one of the best meals I’ve had during all my stay in Kashmir and in India!

Mujtaba is a great host ! We stayed there for 2 days and while leaving we were thinking why we did not book the place for 1 or 2 more days. The place had a very good vibe and the room was very cozy. we went there in 1st week of Jan and it was literally very cold out there. Still we felt very warm inside, the hamam was very very good. Mujtaba was very responsive and very helpful. Definitely recommend this place !

Bashir sir and family were the warmest of hosts that we had met so far. We spent 4 nights at the property on our dream holiday to Kashmir, which turned out to be most memorable and adventurous one. Right from the booking, Bashir sir was in touch to help plan our itinerary and helped us book a trustworthy cab. Bashir Sir's wife is an amazing cook. We were welcomed with warm Khawa(Kashmiri Tea made with Saffron)which so far is best Khawa that we have tasted during our trip followed by great sumptuous dinner. The crockery with which they served the dinner belong to the Mughal era. We are all our breakfasts and dinners at the property. The property is away from the hustle bustle of the city overlooking Sangreshi mountains. Rooms are pristinely clean with electrically heated bed, warm blankets and fully carpeted floor. Toilet was super clean with all the essentials. We will certainly come back for sure! Look no further for your Srinagar stay. Thank you once again for having us🙏
