Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Maggia

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

Paul and Silvia's Airbnb is fantastic. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms work very well, and the four bedrooms are comfortable. The living area upstairs along with the patio have incredible views too and plenty of space for four climbers going to Brione and Chironico. I highly recommend it. The internet speed/connection leaves something to be desired though.

Quiet and relaxing stay. Communication was easy and efficient. Accessible by train, 10-15 minutes walk from the station. Thank you for everything:)

Fun, fabulous and friendly. We loved our stay at Mauro’s place. It is in a great location for exploring Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed and were even able to park our Motorhome. Mauro’s artwork was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic four night stay at Kathi's AirBnB. Her place is beautiful and serene, with an amazing view of Lake Como. It's the perfect place if you are looking to recluse and relax next to the lake. We noticed the quickest way to get around was to either have a car or catch the C30 Bus to Bellagio. Kathi was an amazing host, very kind, helpful and accommodating.

We just returned from a stay - the pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the home and the location. Jennifer and Nico are outstanding hosts and have been extremely helpful in recommendations for restaurants, activities and future stays.

Quiet place, convenient for dogs thanks to the private garden, cozy cottage. I'd go back.

Vilma is an extraordinary host. She is very pleasant, full of energy and thoughtful. We were warmly welcomed. Her house is really very nice, the rooms are beautiful, there is a touch of class and attention to detail. There are numerous spaces in which to stay. The roof terrace is simply amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is really well equipped for cooking. For those looking for tranquility in a charming place with a welcoming host, this is the perfect place that I highly recommend.

Very good stay in the apartment which is very pleasant to stay in and in which there is everything for a great stay. Very available and responsive host. The accommodation is very well located and allows access to the center and the lake on foot.

Everything was really perfect and even better than expected. Check-in was super flexible and the apartment had all the amenities you could think of. The kitchen was excellently equipped and the blue CK over the lake fantastic. Really highly recommended!

Would stay here again when visiting Verbania. This was a last minute booking for us. I stayed with my children and felt very safe. Apt is on the ground floor. There is a general front door to get in which is locked with a code and the door to the apt which was through an office area was also locked with a code. This was convenient bc I did not need a key. There are bars on the windows so it felt safe even being on the ground floor. Host was perfect in every way. I texted her multiple times with random questions and she responded promptly.

This apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 6. It was in a great location - 5 minutes from the Lake Como Greenway, 15 mins to Lenno ferry port. It is also close to the bus stop and nearby supermarket. We loved it as a base to explore the middle lake. Riccardo and Valeria were such friendly hosts and their son Davide was always available to answer questions and make local recommendations. We had a great stay in Ossuccio.

We arrived tired after a long journey and left early for another long journey. Ivan's apartment, very welcoming host, is great. Everything you need, everything works perfectly and silence to sleep and rest!

Andrea’s apartment was clean, spacious, and matched the description. The kitchen was well-equipped and Andrea provided many recommendations of places to see, restaurants, and local amenities. The apartment is a little further away from the downtown areas and ferry terminals than we expected, but it meant a lovely walk along the water everyday. This beautiful location and the lovely little cafe across the street are highly recommended.

Beautiful views over Lugano, clean and comfortable apartment. A private parking place is a big place. Make sure to fold your side windows when leaving the car parked, otherwise the “friendly” neighbors wlll do it for you. 😏

we had a amazing time in this once in a life time experience with the most beautiful views it was so peaceful and relaxing. wr had a few problems on arrival but defo our fault and not the hosts they was straight on hand to help us out Highley recommend for a romantic get away I went with my best friend and we don't drive but this did not stop us at all we loved exploring the local area the people are so lovely and welcoming we would defo visit again the pool and spa area were stunning 😍 also
