Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Madeira

We had a great time in this apartment! It is very well located, easy to access, with parking spaces nearby. There is the beach and restaurants 10 minutes away by car. Funchal (the capital) is about a 30 minute drive away and all activities to do on the island are within an hour's drive. The apartment is very pretty and welcoming, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the ocean and the surrounding fields, in which you can observe plenty of animals (sheep, goats, cows). It's also nice to have a hot tub! The hosts were great, they are very responsive by message and always available. We loved our stay in Madeira!

This beautiful new property boasts breathtaking ocean views. The modern, clean, and comfortable house is very quiet and safe, with ample parking space. The pool is super clean, making it a pleasant spot, even though it was a bit chilly for swimming. I’d love to return again.

The house looks even nicer than in the photos and is great. The apartment is super clean and spacious and well equipped. Especially the kitchen is well equipped. Thank you for the nice hospitality.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Funchal. Mario is a great host and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a cool place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

We really loved our stay at Eva‘s house – it has everything you need including all sorts of kitchen utensils, interesting books, cosy blankets and most importantly amazing views and spots to chill. Eva was a great host! The roads to the house are typical Madeira – narrow and steep, but definitely doable! And that‘s maybe the price if you‘re looking for a super quiet and natural experience. Would definitely come here again!

The place was great. On the balcony you had sun all day and a great view of the sea. In addition, the communication with Angela was great. She was on site at check-in and showed us everything again. Super friendly 😊🙌🏼

Susana place was as advertised. It was modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. It has a huge deck area that was a great place to relax. A supermarket was within an easy walk. We were there for 9 nights and would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I are in our 60's, we did not hire a car but relied on the buses. The Number two bus is right outside, the number 1 & 3 are down the hill and a bit of a walk, easier for us if we walk a bit of a zig zag- up one block stop for a wee sip and then continue :) the number 4 bus stops about one block down and over a block. We took the bus to Lido and enjoyed the swimming complex with a huge pool, lockers , showers. We enjoyed a few jazz venues, walking along the promenade and roof top views. The apartment was lovely and had a nice cross breeze and a washer/dryer. We would book again. :)

This is a wonderful property in the heart of Funchal. The accommodation is very cost, warm and inviting to any traveler after a long day. Its has everything you need and close to beautiful shops, the cable car and so on. I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to come back and visit!!

We love the place, was super clean. Spacious area, each room came with its shower and bathroom, which made the stay super comfortable. I would like to extend special thank to Odette and her husband for being responsive and helpful. We had an minor parking issue due to narrow streets and tiny parking space, reached our to Odette and her and husband not only answered to our late call, but were there within 20 minutes and helped us out momentarily. It felt like having friends there who rushed to help. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has all the basic necessities.

Here’s my review of the stay: In short, it was simply perfect! The apartments were clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The view of the ocean and the sunsets was our favorite part. We felt completely at home!

We were very kindly received by Julie and were able to use the apartment longer on the day of departure. The view of the harbor of Funchal is breathtaking and we liked the terrace very much. A special plus was the parking space on the premises.

Very nice appartment. In the city center - great location. Just the mattresses could be more comfortable but for that price its all good :) I recommend :)

Maria's apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. There's a terrasse with a view where you can watch the sun going down. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds and bathroom are comfortable. There is a bus stop just outside where you can get to the centre of Funchal quickly. The buses are prompt and reliable. There's a small shop nearby and a restaurant. Maria is extremely helpful and accessible. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 10 days staying at Gary’s apartment. You could not wish for a better location in the heart of the Old Town. Everything we needed - sights, buses, restaurants. Supermarket and the bonus of the Xmas lights were on our doorstep. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Apartman has an excellent location and parking in the garage, 10 min to Funchal, 5 min to the beach. The apartment was clean, tidy, there is everything Elvio says in the description. Very flexible with Elvio, responds promptly. Thanks for a great stay 👍

Chayanne is an attentive and kind host who went out of his way to make our stay extra comfortable, and gave us useful recommendations for our trip. The flat is peaceful and spacious and has everything you need; great selection of crockery, knives and pans, and one could easily stay a month here comfortably. There is a decent sized pool and a cosy balcony to enjoy the views. I highly recommend this place and I hope to come back here next time!

We have stayed at Carlos’ lovely apartment a few times now and enjoyed every visit. For us, as a couple, the space is perfect, the host is super friendly and responsive and the balcony affords beautiful views over the harbour and the city of Funchal. We use the outdoor space a lot. In the morning you can watch the cruise ships arrive or depart over the horizon and the sun is there for most of the day until it drops below the hills to the West at around 6 in the evening. We continue to discover interesting places and local amenities with each visit. This time I discovered the yoga mat (it’s in the cupboard in the hallway to the kitchen) and we also tried and enjoyed the “Churrascaria de Brasilia”, which is a take-away restaurant about 5 minutes walk up the road from the apartment. Finally, the Christmas Lights, which get turned on at the beginning of December and seem to light up every building in Funchal, are great fun.

This apartment is in a perfect location, right in the centre of Funchal. Despite needing modernisation, it is spotlessly clean and has everything you need.

This was my 3rd stay here. An excellent place which is in a great location, with it being fairly quiet and only a 5/10 minute walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. Rooms very good, Kitchen seemed to have what we needed, and the terrace is superb. Can sit out in the sun or in the shade, lovely for a quiet breakfast looking at the sea. Around a 20-25 minute walk to the old town but buses and taxis easy and cheap enough if you cannot go that far. Will more than likely be back next year. 10/10
