We stayed at this place for one week and had a wonderful time. The house is in the middle of a small banana plantation, and upon our arrival, we were greeted with a bunch of local bananas and a mango from Veronica. The beach is within walking distance. The road leading to the house is a quiet, private, local route that takes you through two tunnels and past some waterfalls, adding to the charm and excitement of the place. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Veronica is an amazing host—very responsive and always helpful. We definitely recommend this place for a stay!

What a great place! As soon as you go through the gates, the hustle and bustle of Funchal fades into the background and you find yourself in a tranquil oasis surrounded by banana trees. The accommodation itself was perfect and the pool a God-send. Buffy and Frank were the perfect hosts - so welcoming and friendly, always available for any questions and super-responsive. One of the best Airbnbs we have used!

Thank you to the owners for the warm welcome! We had a wonderful stay—nature, hiking, and food were all amazing. The only slight disappointment was the sunset view, which many had mentioned. Depending on which apartment you book, the experience varies. The ground-floor apartments have stunning sunset views, while those on the upper floor have side terraces and limited sunset views in winter. However, we still found other beautiful spots around Madeira to enjoy the views and a glass of poncha!

The apartment has the most gorgeous view, extremely beautiful surroundings and a lot of peace and quiet. We really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace - that in itself was worth the trip! A beautiful place, highly recommended.

We stayed in SeaSky for 5 days. Although the arrival at the accommodation is by a steep concrete slope, arriving and leaving by car is no problem. Parking spaces are well marked on the ground, we have never had any problems. The duplex apartment offers a magnificent view and allows you to wake up with the sound of waves on the shore and facing the sea. The pool is a great asset after a good day walking or driving around the island, or enjoying the terrace of the accommodation. Special mention for the extra "pool" towels provided. A very, very good accommodation.:)

Our arrival went smoothly even after a delay in our flight. Joao was there to welcome us, introduce us to the house, and provide us with some recommendations. The house is beautiful, convenient and even better than in the photos. We recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

A sublime place for nature lovers, with a most professional welcome. From the Airbnb, you can easily start the Pico do Arieiro hike. The small chalet is very comfortable, perfectly equipped and impeccably clean. I highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to come back for a future stay.

Beautiful accommodation, with a wonderful property. Lou is a very nice lady, she helped us with everything, it was nice to talk to her every time we met. If you get lost on the way down the coast (like I did) Cookie the dog will help you find find your way back. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet.

An exquisite property, nestled amidst lush greenery and scenic hills, with expansive panoramic windows/terrace to bask in the splendor of the natural surroundings, direct access to fresh garden produce (lemon, mango, chayote/cushaw squash, pepper, parsley…) and chicken eggs, and a thoughtfully curated welcome basket (water bottle, red wine, mini chocolates, and locally sourced fruits/eggs) provided upon arrival. Just make sure to: (a) hone your “manual” hill driving/parking skills (a tad difficult in those areas) and (b) bring along a supply of basic toiletries that may be either left out or scarcely stocked (soap, shampoo, toilet paper…). The three of us ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay here and could not recommend it enough!

Had a lovely time in the eco cabin. It was very peaceful and cozy inside. The view from the window of the cabin was amazing and we enjoyed the donkeys. It was totally quiet. Very nice.

A wonderful stay! Lou is a warm hostess who takes great care of her guests. The view from the garden is simply breathtaking and the room was perfect for me. Clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. I would love to come back!

Such a nice and beautiful house to stay in while visiting Madeira. Amazing view under a beautiful landscape. Carolina was extremely responsive and provided us help when required. The jacuzzi is a must

João is an exceptionally friendly and proactive host. The Villa and the Pool are in the most scenic Environment and the Infinitiy Pool is the cherry on top. We came as a group of 6 to both work and spend some time in nature. Fully recommendable!

We were very lucky to spend a few days at Villa Sweden and it was just amazing! The hosts are incredibly warm, attentive and helpful – they made our stay perfect from the beginning. After our adventurous explorations of the beautiful island, Villa Schweden was our little paradise to relax. The views are stunning, whether at sunrise or quiet dusk. The jacuzzi was the absolute highlight and let us relax in the best way every night. The villa is decorated with a lot of love, super clean and nothing is missing. Thank you so much for this wonderful time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and both the apartment and the surroundings were fantastic. The pictures and the view are slightly outdated due to the new development arround. Nevertheless, the view is there und ist was a great stay.

Leonel and his wife have created a cluster of wonderful apartments born out of absolute passion and love for the region and his family’s heritage. My wife and I stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment with its own private roof terrace overlooking the outdoor pool. The accommodation is located amongst the towering lush green mountain scape. The kitchen is really well equipped with an oven, microwave, hobs and double sink. A stunning location & apartment. Beware that no paper products can be flushed down the toilet, so there’s a separate bin for this…

Carlos and Maria were great, so friendly and ready to help with anything we needed, a rental car, instructions and cleaning.

We had two wonderful weeks in Rodrigos apartment. The apartment is superbly equipped and has far more equipment than the average AirBnB. You immediately notice that Rodrigo pays great attention to high-quality things, from the kitchen equipment and gadgets for hikes etc. to the mattress and pillows. There is also a desk and gaming chair for home office. The internet is stable, very fast and very suitable for remote workers. Rodrigo is the perfect host, who gave us bananas from his garden, which made our breakfasts delicious every day. He lives on the first floor, so he is always available for questions or advice, but otherwise not intrusive or very present. As I said - the perfect host. We would book again at any time to have a delightful time on Madeira.

The Casas Na Ilha was very clean, large and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The pool and kitchen were great for large groups as well as each room had its own bathroom. We would come back. Isabel responded very quickly and kindly to messages and the check-in with the door code was very easy and convenient.

Great house in a beautiful place, you will feel immediately home, the house has lots of nature around, very quiet. Amazing views to the forests and Ocean. Very closed to Santana village to do groserías / visit restaurants and close to several hiking routes such as PR18, PR9 and PR1.2. Carlota and Babi were very responsive. We loved this place !
