Good for the price, great view

This was a lovely place to stay. Alvaro was kind and responsive going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was clean and had everything you need. The extra bonus for us was the laundry as we had already been travelling over a week by then. Thank you for making our stay extra comfortable.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Pedro's place. Our check in, facilitated by Rui, was easy, smooth and enjoyable. The house itself is really nicely furnished and very comfortable, well equipped, and the balcony is a wonderful added bonus. It's perfect for those who want to be close to what Madalena has to offer, but also the flexibility to make your own meals and relax in your own space. It's worth noting that the house is next-door (and shares a wall with) a bar with a port-side terrace. The bar isn't open early in the week - and is therefore not an issue at those times - but later in the week does stay open until 1am. The bedroom is on the street side of the house, so with the window open, there is some noise that drifts in from bargoers. If you're a light sleeper, you may struggle a little with this, but it didn't bother us enough to affect our experience and we were fine keeping that window closed and the fan on. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return.
