I’ll start off this review by saying this is now the fourth time we have stayed here, so I think that should speak for itself! It has become a traditional cozy winter getaway after the busy holiday season for us. Warm, clean, fully functional, and in a great location just across the bridge for easy trips during the day. We go there for winter birding, but I’m sure anyone who loves winter and winter sports would love the area. The kitchenette is simple but equipped with everything you need to make some simple meals. The bathroom is cozy but functional, with a nice-sized stall shower. Of course, it’s impossible not to enjoy all the live plants around you! It even has a great collection of old vinyl! One of the first things we love to do is find some of our favorite records, whether they be classical, Christian hymns, or, like last time, putting on James Taylor, “How Sweet It Is to Be Loved by You,” and dancing together! Enjoy your stay; I know you will! Blessings in Christ.

This was the most adorable cabin in a beautiful, remote location. We appreciated all of the amenities provided (fire pit being set up and gas grill), along with extra firewood if needed! There were things provided we did not remember, such as marshmallow sticks!! Not To mention the most comfortable beds - this was so nice to come back to after a day of exploring. Additionally, we appreciated the recommendations for restaurants, sites to see, and grocery stores! While watching movies, we loved the tv speakers and Bluetooth speaker to listen to music while cooking. Diane and Allen responded so quickly with any questions we had and it gave us such peace of mind. The area itself is gorgeous and we definitely want to visit again! Thank you Diane and Allen!!!!

We had such a great time. Winter in the UP is so peaceful. Danielle's place was great to come back to after exploring from White Fish Point to Kitichi-ti-kipi spring to Tahquamenon falls. We never had to stop at the grocery store. Danielle's place had coffee, tea, creamer, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. We'll be back!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warmth and comfort of the cabin. The space was thoughtfully designed, making us feel right at home. We have stayed at numerous AIRBNB’s and have never had more gracious hosts than Ray and Pinky! The home is very comfy and in a great location. We were there for our annual snowmobile trip and had a great time! You can access the trail directly from this home. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in this area.

Great amount of space & separation of master from 2 additional bedrooms. Beds very comfortable. Pictures of Island & city were a nice local touch. Luggage rack in each bedroom & plenty of hangers. Both a nice sized front porch & a rear deck for relaxing & star gazing. Rural feel but close to town & destination locations (Mackinac Island & Tahquamenon Falls) and a walking audio history tour of St Ignace.

Caleb's house was just what we needed for our family vacation! Caleb communicated several times the day of our arrival and had the house open and waiting for us. He also checked in with me during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. The house was clean and very spacious for our group. Would definitely stay here again if in St. Ignace!

We had a wonderful stay. If we knew how wonderful the property was we would have planned the stay here for another couple days. Felt right at home. Was close to a number of destination spots but honestly you could just stay on property and have a great experience. Fall colors on property were gorgeous.

Staci’s place was perfect for our needs. We wanted to be centrally located and needed 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We were surprised to find the house actually had 3 bedrooms (the 3rd didn’t have a door and was on the main floor … guessing they are working on making this into an official third bedroom). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner there. The only things we added were a cork remover and a colander. The house was very clean and the pictures were an accurate representation. Staci was quick to respond when we had a need and made sure we had everything we needed. We’d recommend Staci’s house for anyone wanting to visit the UP and hit several sightseeing places.
