Lorna's apartment is absolutely perfect! Such a wonderful stay! My husband and I were traveling from the US to attend a wedding at Mount Druid which is right next door to Lorna's apartment. I highly recommend booking this place if you are attending an event at Mount Druid or even if you're only interested in exploring the town. The apartment was extremely clean, very comfortable and was very large making it feel like our own sweet cottage for the weekend. It has everything you could ever need and more as Lorna left us some lovely items to cook for breakfast which was just an amazing and thoughtful gift. Getting in was very easy and you are able to park right outside of the home. We ventured one evening to the pub across the street and had such a wonderful time visiting with locals and enjoying a pint. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to one day come back for a visit. The cottage is beautifully decorated and simply feels like home. Fresh flowers were placed throughout the space, everything is high quality (bed linens, dishes, shower supplies, pantry & refrigerator items, and furniture). The bed is amazing and the roof window even has a shade! A top bed linen sheet is even available to use. Dora & Liam have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was great to meet them and chat. They are so very kind! If this place is available, book it!! It is a great location as well. We traveled around the area in all directions with ease. We are so very thankful that we had the opportunity to stay at the cottage and meet our new friends, Dora & Liam.❤️

Great place to stay in an area with lots to do, close to the Shannon and lots of lakes in the area. Walkable to the middle of Ballymahon which has many pubs and restaurants but Cathal's place is quiet at night. A superb apartment to stay in with all the facilities needed for a home from home. Cathal is very helpful if you have any queries and has made a fantastic place to stay.

Wonderful spot. Calm, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is lovely and feels like a proper home with everything thing you could possibly need. Joe was a super host, really kind and helpful. We highly recommend this charming property.
