Beachfront vacation rentals in Los Angeles County

Sean’s place was the perfect location for our family. We wanted to spend all our time at the beach and it was a 3 min walk. The grocery store was conveniently 2 blocks away and the downtown shops were walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

It was an amazing place to stay with beautiful rooftop views. Clifton was very helpful with checking and with any questions I had. Although beware. Like other reviews the only thing is there is at of stairs as every rooms and living room are on separate floors. It’s definitely not a complaint for me but you can find it tiring after a long day out. There was clean linens, towels, and toiletries available. Has a gas stove that worked great with some pans included that we made French toast with. The area also great and felt safe 24/7. It had garage parking which is great as the area can fill up during the day time with people going to the beach. I’d highly recommend the place, especially if staying for multiple days or with other people. It’s a great roomy location that I hope to be able to return to sometime.

The home is super cute and decorated well - perfectly beachy! The couch was incredibly comfy and a great place for everyone to sit. I wish we didn’t have to leave! The two car garage was awesome, too. We felt really safe and had a ton of fun!

Greg was a wonderful host! His place was hands down one of the cleanest AirBNB’s I’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the linens were fresh and clean. The bathtub was also incredible. The apartment doesn’t run out of hot water, so you can take as many hot baths as you want. The area felt extremely safe. As a lady, this is very important to me when I travel. The neighbors were friendly and had great things to say about Greg. Restaurants, shopping, and the beach were within a ten minute walk. I walked alone as late as 10pm and felt perfectly safe on my own. If I’m ever back in the area, I’d book here again. Highly recommend!

Donald's apartment was an excellent home-away-from-home for our six-week stay in LA (helping with new babies). The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and everything worked properly; my husband and I were really able to settle in to the space. Donald was promptly responsive to a couple of minor things that needed attention. The heat worked well (we were there in December/January) and the windows were tight (we evacuated for a few days during the fires, and there was no trace of invasive dust or ash when we returned). The dedicated garage parking space was a definite plus! We enjoyed walking on the Venice Boardwalk and exploring the Venice Canals area, and some local restaurants and shops in the neighborhood that Donald recommended. We would definitely go back to 28 S. Venice Blvd!

We had the best time!! Everything was just as described. The view from the patio is lovely and the beach is right in front of you. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

We had a great time here! Booked very last minute and ended up being almost perfect! Main pros were location, beach access, provided beach toys, very comfy bed. The view is exactly as depicted in photos. So not completely oceanfront but can see and hear the ocean just fine. Construction noise as mentioned in other reviews was not an issue for us. Very cozy small place, worth the price for location. And was very clean. We had issues with the grill which was a bummer but they came and fixed as soon as I mentioned. One thing to note is the sofa bed was very basic. Great for our kids but would not recommend putting an adult on it. Also I was very confused by reviews stating the kitchen was very well stocked. That threw us off as we were planning on cooking every meal. No mixing bowls, and exactly 4 plates, 4 cups, 4 bowls…next time I’ll bring paper plates for serving etc. Would definitely come back! Look forward to booking again.

We received a call from the host a few hours before check in letting us know the place was ready & available for early check in. Once we arrived we met with Diane. She was very welcoming and sweet. Showed us around & answered any questions we had. Gave us great recommendations of places for our group to have some fun. The beach was a few steps away. Great location, very clean and just as described. Perfect for our girls trip. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wow! What a beautiful spot we found at Jose's place. Jose was an excellent host, answering all of our questions and providing a beautiful apartment. We had tennis, croquet, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, beach and outstanding view at our disposal. (Oh, and golf cart too!) We would highly recommend this lovely stay to anyone. Very peaceful too. This was a dream come true for me and my kids for their spring break! We felt right at home in our quiet, beautiful and peaceful place. We loved all the amenities and the nice cozy beds. The view was breathtaking and the golf cart was amazing to have. I also really appreciated all of the details on where the place was located and how to turn tv on and how everything worked. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back and stay again!

Anna was a great host—very responsive and attentive. Her home was spotless and a fantastic deal for the location! Easy, walkable access to the whole property. Will definitely return!

This place matches the pictures exactly as listed on the Airbnb site. Rosie is very responsive; she provided us with information on local attractions and brought us additional heaters when we mentioned that the room was a bit too cold for us. She also allowed us to check in earlier, which made our day much easier. The golf cart that came with the rental is a must-have. Since the gated community does not allow rental golf carts inside, we were glad to have our own. It made it much easier to come in and out of the community, which is a bit too far to walk, especially when carrying groceries. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of condiments and plates, making it feel like home. I would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for making our trip wonderful!

Kinda was beautiful, especially the views of the ocean. We saw the seals and the dolphin swimming by. You could hear the water lapping onto the shore.

Trevor’s place was awesome! An amazing view, use of the golf cart, gorgeous balcony, and the interior of the condo is beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay again. Trevor responded to our questions immediately and was very kind and helpful. Thank you, Trevor.

Great place on a great beach, plus pool and jacuzzi! Crystal was a wonderful host—easy to deal with, responsive and clearly cared about ensuring we shad a good stay.

Great place to stay in Malibu. The heated pool is perfect even on a cloudy day in winter. The electric heaters in the patio are a nice touch. The steam sauna is relaxing. Road noise is minimal at least in the west bedroom. Laundry in basement is useful and you can pay for it using an app, don’t need coins ( though that’s an option). Highly recommended overall.

The beach bungalow was perfect. It was 4 houses from the beach (but not really much of a "beach", more like a mooring for the local boats) and was beautiful and peaceful. The house got lots of natural light which is a must for me! It was small and I wouldn't recommend for a family of more than 2 kids because of size and the need to be quiet because of very close neighbors. The master had a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom had 2 twins. Kitchen was small but functional and fully equipped. Had a Jack-n-Jill bath. Rooms were small but the house was cozy and exactly what I was looking for. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Patricia gave clear instructions on gaining access to the house. Altho the houses were very close together as is normal on a small island in Newport Beach, it was very private and had a nice private patio in front. Great place to stay and I would definitely return!

This is hands down the best home I’ve rented! It has everything you could need - definitely feels like a home and not a rental! The house was so cute and loved the touches from the original home. The furniture was very comfortable and everything felt clean! We absolutely loved our time. The dutch door looking out to the back was wonderful. We loved watching the kids play in the sand or swing on the hammock. The only downside was that the beach directly behind the home (over the sand berm) is not clean. There is loads of trash including needles. But you can easily walk to the nicer part of the beach or the bay area directly across the street. Would definitely rent again! The hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would recommend!

Fantastic host! Stocked the fridge with water and left us some fruit and chocolate for our arrival. Gave us early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bathrooms even have bidets. Would 100% stay again. The only negative worth mentioning is the house is on a main road so there was car noise audible in the mornings. But that's the trade off for being directly across from the beach entrance.

This beach house could not have been more perfect! The location is everything. I swear we found one of the most private beaches with staying at this property. The property had all the amenities and we really felt at home. Kathy was sooooo helpful. Her communication was great. We would absolutely come back and stay. We saw dolphins and sea lions from the back deck.

Really enjoyed staying at Mark's place. Great place to come back to after exploring the area. Very walkable to Venice where you can rent a bike to go further on the boardwalk to Santa Monica. I just wished the weather was a little bit warmer so I could have taken advantage of the garden area. Oh, the best pillows ever of the AirBnbs that I've stayed in on my trip around the globe. I need to find out where they're from. I'd definitely look into staying there again when I'm back in the area.

This is easily the favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Only reason I contemplated leaving a review, is because I don’t want others to fill the slots 😂😂 Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts!

The house is very spacious. We enjoyed the outdoor seating options and spacious kitchen.

This was a beautiful location!! Very convenient with beach access and stunning views of the pier and ocean. The fireplace was amazing. Sleeping to the sound of waves. It couldn’t haven’t been better!
