Monthly Rentals in Little Hormead

From the very initial contact at booking the hosts were so thoughtful with booking restaurants, recommending places, leaving cereals, biscuits and milk and opening the gate for us to go to the airport at 3.30am! Letting us have a lie in and waiving the 10am checkout was so very welcome. The care and attention to every detail is evident, they really have thought of everything. The apartment is finished to an extremely high standard, the bedding and towels are luxurious and everything is immaculately clean and beautifully presented. The hosts were there if you needed them but fully respected your privacy. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night. What was meant to be a place to stay to drop my son at the airport for an early morning flight, turned into being a truly wonderful weekend with some fantastic walks and gorgeous meals at the restaurants that the hosts recommended and arranged for us. Thank you both for letting us stay in your beautiful place, best hosts we have met!

We had an excellent stay in Catharine’s property. It had everything we needed for a long stay, including a very good internet connection. The property is really comfortable and private, with lovely views across the countryside. It’s in a great position to explore the surrounding area. Catharine is a great host who is very friendly, responded quickly to any questions we had and provided everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return if we are in the area again.

Comfortable stay in town-centre accommodation. Well-decorated and clean. Kitchen was well-stocked with basics but there are shops on your doorstep for anything else you need. Despite being in the centre of town, it is quiet and peaceful, being in a small cul-de-sac off the high street. Jill / Louise are perfect hosts, very accommodating and helpful. There are one or two small drawbacks: if you have anything other than a small car, you will find it difficult to get in and out - the cul-de-sac entrance is very tight, as is the allocated parking space. There's also a low beam in the bedroom which is easy to clonk your head against. But we knew about these issues as we've stayed there before, and they weren't a problem for us.
