Daan is an excellent host. Sunrises are wonderful. Very nice and clean house. The hillside is steep, being on the side of a mountain, might be difficult for some people to get to the house from vehicle specially for a wheelchair.

The location was exactly what we wanted and needed to help us transition into the area ahead of our relocation. The host was super accommodating to our long stay needs especially when the construction of our new home fell slightly behind schedule and he quickly extended our stay to align to our new move in date. We loved the mountain location and all of the visiting wildlife. such a great experience.

If there's anything like an Airbnb "10-Star Rating" for a host, it ought to be bestowed to Barb's place without question! I couldn't have asked for a better place and host given that the value for money far exceeded what was available within the general area with proximity to DC metro! Though the listing presented a rather (simple) 'efficiency-type' space, you actually get a fully Furnished Living space plus Kitchen, in addition to a separate Full-sized Bedroom with the most amazing PRIVATE BATH which was the 'Pièce de Résistance' of the facility......with the most incredible Shower experience!!! (I ended up searching far and wide, and thankfully found the fantastic same Shower head at Costco online! :) ) As a first-time Airbnb user with serious reservations given some of the 'stories' related to the service, hosts like Barb is what is NEEDED to assure users of the offering that this business model intended in the first place! Bravo, Barb!
