Beautiful home on a lake with trails all around. I loved the outside front porch that overlooks the Diamond Lake. Great place to relax and take in the nature. Extremely friendly restaurant/bar / gas station across the street. We got to meet the owners of Schindy’s and they made us feel very welcome . I’d definitely would love to come back .

when you arrive, there's a home like feeling. everything screams grannies house. sitting in the living room I often thought of my grand parents house. we ended up telling stories of our family with the same type of furniture or bedding. it was indeed a blast from the past. we travel the country and this is the first place we just settled. we felt at home. the kids was happy. we were at peace. watched TV and had a home cooked meal. it was true bliss! we can't wait to go back! we have stayed in so many places, even on a island in the gulf this year and the one that gave us the most was this little trailer house with shaggy carpets!! absolutely loved it!! thank you Brenda for sharing your home with us and giving all those memories!!

Not my first time staying with Evan, and not my last. He’s always very responsive, very hospitable, and very friendly. It’s a nice place and i recommend it to anyone looking for a nice local place downtown!

So glad that we opted for a weekend getaway! We were seeking snow for snowmobiling, but the weather‘s been very unpredictable. We completely enjoyed just staying in by the fireplace and unwinding! Very secluded! Had the weather not been so icy we would have ventured out on the trails! Definitely want to come back in the summer! Jillian was an excellent host!
