Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Leisure Island

Cathy is helpful, proactive, and a friendly host. The house is spacious, comfortable with a big garden that was ideal for my dog. The neighbourhood is quiet and walking distance to restaurants abd shops.

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

For golfers this is a fantastic location as there is easy access to a least five excellent courses. If you like a tranquil home with great views and security this is the place for you. Ideally situated on the Garden route it is a great place to base your explorations. Delarey is a very amenable and enthusiastic host who ensured that we had a great stay with all the home comforts and pizza oven! We are looking forward to returning next year.

We had a relaxing holiday and the dining room table was able to seat 14 for a family celebration. The location and facilities enabeled us ro celebrate my mother's 90th Birthday. The house become the cental meeting place. Beds were top quality, kitchen well appointed. The unit matched the photographs. Will be back for another holiday.

One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed in and definitely one of the best in Sedgefield. I stayed there for 2.5 months while visiting family and experienced an excellent stay. The hosts go out of their way to make a person feel comfortable and at home and the unit is immaculate and well stocked with everything one could need. I could find no fault anywhere, everything was perfect for us and I am so grateful to the hosts for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

This was our second stay at the beautiful Sagewood cottage and it was just as great as we remembered it. Absolutely stunning and we can’t wait to come back as soon as possible.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It's spacious and has a lot of open spaces. In particular the living room/ kitchen is fantastic with the two big sliding doors to the pool on the one hand side and the terrace on the other. You have a nice view down into the valley and it's only about one kilometer to the center. We were a family with 2 young kids and everyone loved this apartment!

Our family had a great stay. The house is clean and comfortable. The house is well located on Leisure Island, a close walk to the water and village center. Pet friendly and secure. We would be happy to return in the future.

Our family had a wonderful holiday in their home .lots ved the added touch of chickens and fresh eggs each day 😊 Options for braai area and for pit were impressive . Evenings were full of fun with pool table and dart board.. Endless hours at the pool and exploring knysna .. Just perfect in every way Thank you

We loved our stay. Mairi's place is peaceful, the neighbourhood is wonderful and everyone we met was super friendly. Close to all amenities and the walks along the lagoon are worth every minute. Well worth a visit.

Stayed one week at Trish’s place. Excellent location with great restaurants within walking distance. Accommodation well equipped and very comfortable, felt right at home. Very quiet and peaceful despite being right on the canals. Will book Trish’s place next time we’re in Knysna.

Lovely home that is beautifully decorated with lots of space to relax and enjoy a holiday in Knysna. Padel courts & fabulous restaurant 2 minutes walk away. Perfectly pet friendly too. Tracy is a gracious, friendly and super responsive host.
