The thing I loved most about Jane's place was all the light, for a basement suite this is really unusual and very welcome as I work remotely. There's a window in the bedroom, the living room, and light comes down the stairwell from the front door. If you work from home, this is fantastic! The place is well equipped ( the kitchen, the bathroom and bedroom ), and spotless which is very important to me. The bedroom is has lots of storage and the bed is very comfortable. It also has heated floors which was great considering I was there in February ad if things get too stuffy you can ventilate the area and circulate in fresh air without having to open the windows! Jane always responded to my messages in a timely manner, and even checked in on me ( solo traveler ) to make sure I was ok and to ask if I needed anything. Truly a gracious and caring host, I would definitely stay here again!

Samuel is great to deal with. His place has all the amenities. I enjoyed the stay there.

perfect private guest suite for a leisurely evening after many long days of work. John was very proactive and wanting to make my stay as comfortable as possible but I had no requests because everything was pretty much perfect.

I don't know what it would be like in the summer, but staying during the tail end of winter was very private; We didn't see another human the entire time (other than when we visited the local store). The fireplace made the cabin extremely cozy no matter the weather outside, and the fire pit was great when we decided to brave the cold. And if you did decide to stay inside, there's a huge couch and tons of movies, video games, and board games to spend the night. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. Would definitely come back!
