We had a wonderful week in Noirmoutier-d’Île. The house is a much loved family holiday home and is very charming. Thank you for the lovely bottle of local wine. We loved having the beach opposite and the garden and terrace to enjoy in the sun. Thank you!

Second time we come to Mathieu's and still as good!

We had the most wonderful time together at Floriane’s property. The house is even more beautiful than the photos and it is so much bigger than the photos suggest. We were 3 families of different ages and it suited us all. All the fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality and we lacked nothing. The pool was perfect for the 4 children in our party and the 6 adults enjoyed it too. Each family had our own part of the house so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We hired bikes and explored the island that way. It really was a very relaxing and enjoyable week and we would love to return in the future. We will be recommending the property to everyone.

Thanks to Philippe for his very clean accommodation, responsiveness and flexibility. Too bad there is no wood for the stove, no layout to work as mentioned and there is an extra charge to drop trash cans in the city.

Ideal location to be able to walk to the city center very quickly and radiate throughout the northern part of the island. During our three days, we were able to fully enjoy the different sites (Dames beach, Morin port, Herbaudière) exclusively on foot, on circuits from 3 to 4 hours between paths, beaches, marshes, cultures, coastal paths... For those who like calm, spray, and sea scenery in winter, we highly recommend it. And after the invigorating walks, the house is nice and warm, very well-equipped, ideal for two couples!

The apartment is ideally located as it’s a short walk to the beach & bars and restaurants. The host Marie was very helpful.

We had a pleasant stay in this spacious and clean apartment. Michael was very welcoming and friendly, however it is important not to park in the driveway to avoid any problems with the neighbors. The location close to the beach and the charming port of l 'Herbaudière was an undeniable asset. We recommend this place to stay for families or groups of friends.

Frédéric's apartment is ideally located with a superb view of the sea and the harbor. The terrace is well exposed and sheltered from the prevailing winds, we had lunch in the sun at noon on December 23rd...! The equipment is enough for this type of accommodation, nothing to repeat. The cabin is indeed very narrow, large and/or large people will hardly be able to wash themselves. The bottom bed of 140 cm in the bedroom is inconvenient, insufficient height to sit down to read, entry and exit a little acrobatic and ladder flush with the head... That said, we had a nice stay and communication with Frédéric was always clear and cordial.

Property in a good location and very well-equipped. Great for the group with kids we were. The hosting and communication was very good. You can book without a second thought.

great stay in a very nicely decorated apartment, with great taste. a quick and convenient arrival with all the necessary instructions. clear instructions both for the key and the location of the apartment. an apartment faithful to the photos, with great taste. soft and harmonious colors in all rooms. very comfortable bedding. the necessiare of toilet available and even coffee on arrival. the little extra that is always nice. a very responsive host for questions and available to help if needed. a nice view of Place Napoleon and a checkout procedure just as easy as the arrival. in the morning, the fragrance of pastries to the extent that the apartment is located above a bakery:) delighted with this stay, I will come back!

We had a great time with friends. Between swimming pool, jacuzzi, billiards, we took good care of ourselves. Very clean accommodation, great communication, space for everyone, very nice sleeping area. I would highly recommend it for a large group.

Quiet accommodation, very pleasant, furnished and tastefully decorated where you can feel at home and at the same time a total change of scenery: perfect for a break and relax with friends and family.

We had a great time. The place is very nice (it must be even more so in summer with the outside). The Neighborhood is peaceful . The accommodation is very well designed for 6 people. The only downside was the stove we couldn't use.

We were a family of 5 adults and 2 kids (6 and 2). The sleeping arrangements worked out very well and the kids really loved the playroom and swimming pool. The beaches (one within easy walking distance and one a 4/5 minute drive away) were excellent (no showers though?) with nice beach bars/restaurants. The nearby zoo is worth a visit - clean and the animals looked well looked after. All in all an excellent family holiday.

Stay for my loved ones who enjoyed the accommodation, the amenities, the cleanliness, the garden...! It has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and even the Christmas tree for the holiday season! The hosts are very responsive, pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend it.
