Monthly Rentals in Lawa Darat Gili

Superb base for our stay in Labuan Bajo. Traveled with 2 adults and 2 kids. Dorothea and her staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Adored our trip to the Komodo region and this accommodation was a big part of that. Thank you team!

We stayed for 2 nights and we really like this place. It’s cozy and you can find anything that you need as travelers: utensils in kitchen, many electrical outlets, etc. They even provide us with eggs, cookies, and instant noodles! Rooms are nice, neat, and clean. Mama Nita is also a great host. She will do everything she can to make your stay comfortable. The only drawback is that one of the glass walls in the front bedroom doesn’t have curtains. At night, the bright light from the garden shines into the bedroom. As a result, we couldn’t sleep well because the room couldn’t be darkened. Our suggestion is to add curtains to that part. Other than that, we like this place and recommend it for anyone who want to stay in the heart of Labuan Bajo.

Everything was just perfect and Yohanes is so very helpful! The pickup at the airport was arranged by him which made finding the villa really easy. He and his son welcomed me right at the front door and both of them are so nice! I felt welcomed and like home right away. The villa itself was absolutely perfect! Everything was really clean and I have had everything I needed. The view is so stunning! I loved watching the sunrise in the morning. The access to the private beach is a little adventurous but totally doable if you walk slowly. And the beach with the corals is absolutely gorgeous and worth it! Yohanes and his staff even prepared breakfast for me. Yohanes made me feel like I am a friend and not just a stranger renting his villa. I could always ask him if I had any questions and he was happy to help. The villa is located in such a nice spot of the island because it is very quiet and calm but still very close to the city. This has honestly been the best place I’ve ever stayed at!

Stayed for 7 days the place was as described and comfortable. Good area walkable distance to nice restaurants and very near to the heart of the town and port. Rented a scooter just around the corner and the place was a great base for exploring the island, just loved the driving without that congested traffic and opportunity to see the villages around the island truly amazing! The host is very responsive and gave additional recommendations which were very helpful. Check in was so simple. Recommended for travellers and explorers.
