Lorenzo was very helpful and responsive. Getting luggage to and from the house is a bit of a haul, but the master bedroom is a pretty nice view to wake to and the included parking space in town is handy.

The house is wonderfully made for a perfect holiday. It's all up to the smallest details, such as clothespins. The bed is great, the fridge is also equipped with a freezer. The terrace and the garden are a dream. It is best to come with a small, maneuverable car. The driveway and streets of the area are not easy to drive on.

This is just a gem. The home has everything you need - from a fully equipped kitchen to a washing machine, and plenty of space, but what makes it great it's the location - stunning views from the window, and the hosts - Maurizio was very prompt in answering, we had clear instructions for how to reach him, and he even offered to pick us up when we checked in - and as an added bonus, plenty of tips for hiking trails and what to do around. It felt authentic, peaceful, at home. Tip: In the early morning, don't forget to open the windows wide enough to hear the birds. For those without a car, there's a bus that runs from Lavagiorosso to Levanto (and it's pretty prompt). I think the only warning would need to be for people with reduced mobility, since all Lavagiorosso is an old borgo, with narrow streets and stairs - but it's also part of its charm. Carla's place is perfect, well-equipped, clean and very large. There is everything you need to have a good stay. Self check-in with lockbox, but Carla gives very good instructions with photos to get to the accommodation. Very responsive host to answer any questions you might have You can book without a second thought.
