Monthly Rentals in Lastingham

My husband and I had a 3 night stay at goose end cottage. It did not disappoint. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The weather was amazing so we were able to take long walks with our dog. The walks started directly from the cottage. They had lots of literature and maps available. We walked through woodland, along the riverbank and over fields. Our dog was quite muddy on our return, the owner provided us with a hosepipe on request to clean our dog down. The cottage was dog friendly too, so towels were provided to dry her. Dog dishes and treats were also to hand. Our walk was so picturesque. We came across beautiful villages too. It was a perfect stay

We booked for three friends to spend time together in a relaxing and comfortable environment with a bedroom each and amenities to self cater. This property was perfect. Barry was so helpful and quick to respond during the booking period and quickly answered queries in à friendly manner. We are hoping to go back !

A beautiful little cottage in a delightful village. Very well equipped and nice and warm for cold February evenings. Parking opposite the house. Great some great walks from the cottage. Good pub a hundred yards away. Went for a meal there and was pleased to meet Gill, the owner of Primrose Cottage. A lovely lady who ensures that guests have everything they need. It would be difficult to find a nicer two bedroomed cottage in the area. Everything was great and hope to visit again. Thank you. John and Maggie.

Storey Corner is a very special place. It feels like living in a castle, but with good heating and all the amenities. The house is spacious and very cosy. We loved sitting in front of the log fire in the evenings. It's in a quiet rural location, but still easy to get to. A good pub and tea rooms are a short drive away in nearby Rosedale Abbey. And the views into the valley are fantastic, come rain and shine. The house is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. Sally is very friendly, supplied us with great information about the area and was helpful, if we needed something. There's also a small leaflet in the house with explanations, tips on what to do and about the history of the house, which we found really interesting. Thank you, Sally, for a wonderful time.
