We spent three beautiful days during New Year's Eve parties in this cozy little house. The fireplace and Christmas decorations have created a magical and relaxing atmosphere. The house was very clean and had everything you need. Outside there was a very sunny terrace where you could eat or just relax with a breathtaking view of the Majella. The owners were very helpful and kind. We also made friends with two huddly shepherd dogs who came to visit us every night. It was a wonderful vacation. I recommend this beautiful little house to those who love to stay in the middle of nature and in peace.

Great review for Mr. Nicola's place, a three-story renovated with beautiful exposed beams and stones, comfortable accommodation, with a nice view of the mountains. We found all the comforts imaginable from the milk in the fridge and the oil from their production to the grill to burn. Everything is super clean Host always available to respond at any time and available with great tips on places to see nearby. Lama dei Peligni is a quiet place, great if you want to explore the green Abruzzo full of waterways and the small villages, reachable a few kilometers away...away from the chaos and urban nightlife. We've been there for a few days...we hope to come back for longer.

This place is a hidden gem at all levels: Rosario is a very welcoming host. The house itself has everything you need, is cosy with a little fireplace, and has a beautiful view. The garden is fantastic, our children loved the hammock. Gessopalena is an atmospheric, nice village that has everything we needed: a place for a good coffee, a playground for the children, and a small shop that has all daily groceries. And lastly, the surrounding is great: walks in Majella or visiting the beautiful coast, all in less than an hour drive. We hope to be back here one day!

Our plane was delayed in Atlanta for 8 hours and put us coming into the airbnb very late. Our host was very understanding and gracious. We obviously arrived in the dark, but we walked out the next morning to stunning mountain views. Overall a very nice stay.
