Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Lake Wānaka

Loved our stay! The apartment was very cosy, spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly think of! Lots of street parking and quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. While we still preferred driving downtown, you could also walk through the nature strip within 10-15 minutes to be among all the cool restaurants and bars! Rachel was lovely to deal with - always proactive and clear and super friendly! Highly recommend :)

Dean was really easy to deal with on all aspects of our stay. The home has a gorgeous view, easy walking distance into Arrowtown. We skied both Remarkables & Coronet Peak, which you can see both mountains from your windows at Deans place. Thanks for having us. Love NZ

We loved our stay! The cabin was so peaceful and relaxing! The view was even better than expected and we loved sitting out on the deck drinking wine and taking in the sights.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Archway. Clean rooms, great hosts, convenient location… and the hot tubs!!! 💯 I only wished I stayed longer! Wanaka has so much to offer :)

I had an incredible staying at Carole’s in Wanaka over the new year. The flat is homey and comfortable, including just about anything you could need for cookware, etc. The location is also prime in that there’s a small shortcut to town, which takes about 10-15 mins walking. Unfortunately the shortcut doesn’t come up on Google maps, but Carole nicely provided a printed map and explanation. The location is also a very quiet area, which I greatly appreciated. Lastly, as I was cycling through NZ, I loved that Carole permitted me to store my bike in the garage during my stay. It made me feel very safe and was great to have it out of the way. In addition, she offered for me to use the washer/dryer - something I was very thankful for. Although I didn’t meet Carole in person, I was able to learn that she’s very friendly, flexible, and accommodating. I would highly recommend booking her place.

This was the perfect place to stay while we were down in Wanaka for a wedding. The views were absolutely stunning. The house itself is spacious and feels incredibly luxurious, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The amenities were top-notch, making it feel like a true home away from home. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds, everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. It was the perfect retreat, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-end getaway!

Great little hideaway in Hawea, pretty close to the lake and everything you'd want access to. Libby was really helpful and communicative, top recommend!
