Monthly Rentals in Lake Siskiyou

All the previous reviews are accurate. The hosts Eve and Mark are very welcoming. Everythiing was excellent. The home is immaculate with all the necessary amenities. We certainly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere especially being surrounded by the recent snow. We look forward to enjoying another stay very soon!

When your biggest complaint is the location is so idyllic that you hated leaving... You've found a winner. We ran into Gloria when we first arrived and she was extremely friendly and we felt right at home. If you're looking for a cozy stay, love movies, and love a good view, this is the place for you.

We loved our stay at butterfly cottage in Dunsmuir. There were so many warm touches and the house felt like a home away from home with high end furniture, bedding, bath products, and kitchen ammenities with an open floorplan. Everything was so comfortable and we loved the design aesthetic. All the thoughtful touches and decor was lovely. There is noise from the train, which we liked, you can always use earplugs . The backyard was really great for warmer weather and the river is a short walk and restaurants also. Of note, the two bedrooms are separated by a thin door so, not a lot of noise privacy when in the bedrooms.

The house was clean, well decorated and functional. It was also well insulated for the weather and from street noise and all the heating elements and appliances worked great.
