Vacation rentals in Lake Pontchartrain

As a man of many words I will honestly say I have one word for this Airbnb.....PERFECT. Would absolutely stay here again if in the New Orleans area or recommend to Family or friends.

The cottage was very comfortable and beautifully decorated in a modern, clean and coastal decor. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay there very much. The bed was comfy, the linens were soft, the shower was hot and there was even a stash of Colombian coffee pods for the Keurig. Carl was a very friendly host and we definitely plan to go back so we can enjoy the gorgeous screened in porch with a view! The house appears to be built on property that once was home to a centuries old house destroyed by hurricane Katrina. Even though the original house is gone we were surrounded by majestic live oaks all over the property. It was something straight out of a romantic southern novel.

We had a great time. The house was beautiful and peaceful. It was very tastefully decorated for Christmas while still keeping the open beach house feel. We will definitely stay again. Sandie was very nice and fast to respond.

Our group of five old college friends could not have been happier with our stay. The house was perfect for us, with appropriate sleeping space, comfortable common areas, and a lovely back yard. Everything was as advertised. The Marigny and Bywater are two of my favorite neighborhoods in NOLA, so the locations was great, and it's easy walking distance to Frenchman's St. and the French Quarter (but also removed from the action a bit). And Franz and Tracy were simply the best - great communicators and incredibly generous and flexible.

Nikki was a fabulous and welcoming host! It was a work trip for me and a coworker, but I hope and plan to return to Bay St Louis for a relaxing getaway. I will seek out places hosted by Nikki. Wish we had time to check out all her recommended places, but we LOVED the Mockingbird Cafe and Barracuda’s Taco stand and just overall welcoming feel of the home! Thank you Nikki for being a 5-star host!

Beautifully decorated and very clean! The waters in the fridge and the snacks on the kitchen counter were a very nice touch! I would definitely rent it again!

An amazing place to stay! The floors are almost as beautiful as the sunrises! Close enough to restaurants and shops for walking or you can rent a golf cart. The only thing that would make this place perfect is another bathroom, but we made it work:)

Say hello to the Martha Steward home of Bay St. Louis! This is one of the most personalized and charming Airbnb's we've ever stayed in because of their attention to details. The interior design of the space inside and outside is straight out of magazine with class and taste. They definitely did not cheap out on their bathroom essentials with their nice quality bathroom shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and all. Plus, they have all the seasonings you need. It's the small details like these that set them apart from the rest. We really enjoyed our cozy stay and hope to return.

We booked this home for our honeymoon, we had big plans to go to New Orleans a lot during our week stay, we loved the area so much we only went to the big city one day, we loved how quiet and friendly everyone was in Mississippi and great restaurants and fun to walk around the gulf/beach area! The house was just as described and clean! Will be back again!
