Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Keowee

We loved our stay at the Red Door Cottage! We spent our week with our pup hiking at the state parks and waterfalls that are within about an hour drive! In the evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and even caught a fish off the dock. The host was very kind and responsive. The house even had the kitchen items to cook a Thanksgiving meal! Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful woods right above Lake Hartwell that has everything you ever dreamed of and is wonderful for any time of the year! The owners are really friendly and have equipped the space with everything you need for a perfect stay, great for both vacation and remote work. The two-story indoor space is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The spacious upstairs porch with table, chairs, grill, and TV is also a great living and working area. Plus there’s a covered dock with chairs to enjoy the lake scene while soaking up the sun, kayaks to explore the inlets, and even a firepit for well-rounded outdoor living!

Stayed for about 3 weeks for work and enjoyed the area. Very peaceful location right on the water. Felt right at home the whole time

I had a lovely stay. The home was very basic, but it was just what I was looking for. The lake is beautiful and very secluded. There was no soap or shampoo provided. There was also no sponge or dish brush, so cleaning dishes was tricky. And finally, there was no coffee. These are small things, but they are listed on the listing, so I did not bring any of those items.

Leslie and Sam’s place on beautiful Lake Hartwell was perfect for us. We enjoyed the gorgeous setting overlooking the lake. We loved the open concept with screened porch perched over the lake. It was everything the photos and the listing promised and was perfect for myself and my friend. We would recommend this home and will go back. Thank you so much for helping us ring in the New Year just as we had hoped. We look forward staying with you again.

Bryan’s little cottage was perfect! It was clean and it has a lot of character. We were very comfy. The weather didn’t permit us to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but there would have been plenty to entertain us with a great view! Bryan was very responsive when we had questions. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage.

Christy’s home was perfect for our first Christmas away from home. The view of the lake was beautiful to wake up to every morning and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. She even left a S’mores kit - which we made good use of with the fire pit! Would love to come back here in the summer to make use of the lake and the kayaks!

This lake house was amazing! We had a blast. We were there for the softball little league World Series and it was close enough to everything, while still being far enough for some needed down time. The place was beautiful, cozy, and better stocked than anyplace I have ever stayed before! Kids loved all the board games and the easy access to the lake! If we come back we will definitely keep this place in mind.

Very conscience of making your stay as comfortable as possible Everything was in great working order and definitely up to par I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing retreat Unfortunately with the holiday we spent more time away with others then really being able to enjoy our stay.

Michelle was such a great host and so easy to communicate with - she even reached out to let us know we could arrive a day earlier if we wanted to! The place has everything you could need from games, books, kayaks, bikes and all the things needed to cook in the kitchen! We loved the extra fun scavenger hunt she has, too. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to the area!

Great weekend on the Lake. Reah was very responsive the entire trip and answered all questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Bree and Boyd were great hosts! Very responsive, had great local recommendations, and a place that felt like home. The backyard was great for our kid as snow had just fallen, so we all had plenty of room to have a snowball fight. The location was excellent - very close to downtown Highlands, a short drive to activities such as waterfalls, hiking, and snow tubing, but also felt very private. 10/10 would recommend staying with Bree and Boyd!

The worst part about our vacation, was noone described how hard it was going to be to leave such a beautiful, safe, peaceful piece of heaven! Melanie was the greatest host and she makes sure everything is taken care of for you! She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome! This was our first time ever staying in an AirBNB. And as long as Melanie keeps sharing her beautiful home with us, we will definitely be back♡

We loved our stay at Jackie's Farm house. We loved the setting and the house was great for us overall. Such a cute home with plenty of space for everyone. Bed was super comfy!

We loved the place and the surrounding, The house is very close to town, and many waterfall in the area are in short distance. you need to remember that you in the middle of the forest almost so take with you some bug repellent and don’t be surprised for any wildlife visits 😁, the place is beautiful and clean and got everything you need to feel comfortable and welcome.

Good location just far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to amenities and a few restaurants. Kitchen was nicely stocked, furniture comfortable. Wi-Fi dependable.

Great location on the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. House was just as described in the listing. It was close enough to Clemson and the stadium and equally as close to Anderson. We would definitely stay there again.
