Wonderful cabin with a beautiful view and plenty of beds.

Beautiful piece of heaven. Even though it rained the majority of our visit we were still able to enjoy the serenity of the area thanks to the covered porches. This home is so peaceful and quaint. Exactly what I wished for, and we look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend folks stay at this beautiful cabin with the lovely view.

J.W. was welcoming and informative on the check-in process and openly communicated with us during our stay. It was just as people and J.W. described. The best part for us is the ability to bring our two furbabies, and having a fenced area with water access was top-notch. Also, loved that I didn't feel like my breed of dog was discriminated against, which is very common amongst AirBnB stays, without giving us a chance, because we are responsible dog owners, there was not an outrageous per deposit. Also, loved that I did not feel like I had a Honey DO list before I left. Simply leave it as you found it. Lastly, J.W. put out Christmas trees and decorated for the Holiday which was so sweet spending Christmas on the lake. J.W. thought of everything, and had firewood, fire starters, coffee, and condiments, safe to say I would be able to show up with my groceries and cook, he has it all thought out. Thank you J.W. for the stay. We will be back!

A perfect place for the family!

The house itself was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for our extended family. We went to Chimney Rock and Biltmore before the unwanted visitor. We unfortunately were there during Hurricane Helene, so we were without power and had difficulty getting out due to trees in the road and had to cut our trip short. Of course none of this could have been prevented or expected. We were thankful to have the grill outside once the electricity went out. Neighbors and vacationers alike helped to clear the road of the trees. To say this vacation is memorable would be an understatement. We will keep the entire area in our thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery.

Everything we could possibly need was there right down to beach towels extra sunglasses , great games and puzzles, bug spray This place is comfy and clean Kitchen is beautiful and well equipped

The cabin is a beautiful , special place— you truly feel surrounded by the lake and nature. Plus boats on site, swimming, a hot tub— everything you need for a fabulous vacation. You may even have a bear sighting! Also, Host is extremely responsive and helpful.

Third time staying at one of David’s cabins and great as always. Cozy and private cabin. Stocked well with kitchen and supplies. Extremely dog friendly with fenced areas. The sound of the creek and relaxing were just what we needed.

We had a good stay everything went fine no issues . Hot tub was nice to have on cool rainy days .

Perfect spontaneous mountain get away spot. Danie’l was not only incredibly helpful, but went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We were provided with a space heater for the chilly nights and it headed the cabin perfectly!!! WiFi was perfect and so was the jacuzzi. The only thing we had an issue with was navigating the road for the first time in the dark, but that is completely on us for coming so late at night. When we went out during the day it was much easier and smoother!! Beautiful, quiet part of Hendersonville surrounded by apple orchards and the night sky is out of a magazine with no light pollution. We will definitely be back again to stay!! Thank you for all your amazing help and for making us feel so welcomed and at home!!! I couldn’t recommend this cabin or Danie’l enough!!!

We were not able to actually stay at Lisa’s place because of Hurricane Helene, but will definitely go when we are able! Lisa was a great host, very responsive and helpful!

Absolutely beautiful stay. It was so relaxing and the house was gorgeous. It was super private too. We also loved the fact that it was so close to town. Would definitely stay there again!

Very cozzy and comfy place, very recommendable

This two-story cabin was quite relaxing, exactly what I was hoping for. This place offers a luxurious view of nature through various windows and offers skylight in a renters most occupied rooms. The hot tub was private as well as majority of the spaces offered for occupancy.

This place is a really nice get away. It is not very far off the main highway so it's easily accessible. The cabin itself is nice and private with the nearest neighbor being quite a ways away. I never heard anyone else the entire time we were there. The cabin was nice and clean and the giant wrap around porch made for a great hang out spot. The hot tub was very nice and clean and is where I spent most of my time. Todd was very responsive to any questions I had.

We chose this place to spend New Year's Eve, and I do not regret it. The cabin was beautiful, the landscape was beautiful, my family and I had a lot of fun, my daughter loved everything about the cabin, and thanks to Alisson who was kind and responsible from the beginning. I would recommend it a million times.

This place was a great experience for my family. We decided to take a couple extra days on our vacation to visit Asheville. We loved the place so much it was near impossible to leave. The views are great and it is very peaceful. We got very lucky to see snow fall for a whole day (we live at the beach in Florida) so it was awesome for our kids to experience thing. Nick was very proactive to ensure we were safe leaving in case there were icy roads at bottom of mountain. This place is the perfect cabin to really experience the beauty of the area. 10/10 we will definitely be back soon! Cheers!

House was beautiful in an excellent location. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Very nice hot tub and outdoor space. The deck is incredibly peaceful to have coffee in the morning. The location is amazing, peaceful and secluded but still with easy access to so much excellent hiking, breweries, and everything Asheville has to offer.

My dog Isaac and I had such a great time here! The place was cute, quaint, quiet, and peaceful—basically the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway (or, as I discovered, the setting of a horror movie). Esther, the host, was fantastic—so thoughtful and communicative. She even had a water bowl ready for Isaac, which was such a sweet touch. During my stay, Esther suggested something to stream on the TV, and that’s when I confessed I had already made the questionable decision to watch a horror movie about people being tortured in a cabin in the woods before arriving. I told her I was kind of regretting it now, but thankfully, the only thing haunting about this place was how comfortable the bed was—it made leaving in the morning a real challenge. The directions were easy to follow, the property was beautiful. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape (just maybe skip the horror movies beforehand)!

Wow! The views were amazing. The home is well laid out with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to feel at home. Private and relaxing, just what we needed. Joe was great with quick communication and answering all our needs. Definitely would come back to Lure of the mountains!

Beautiful location and lovely cabin! We were so thankful to our hosts for being able to accommodate us and allow us to visit our family for the holidays as WNC recovers from Helene. They were so kind and even left us cookies (+ treats for our pups)! <3

Kevin’s place was just like the pictures and has everything we needed! It was quiet and cozy! There was a beautiful trail in the back yard and a fire pit! The road to the cabin wasn’t too bad for my little Toyota carolla as well. Would stay again thank you!

We have two special needs handicapped boys and we wanted to take them someplace extra special for Christmas this year. We’ve never really been anywhere besides visiting family, so we were a bit anxious about going to a cabin in the mountains. But the cabin was exactly as described and Julie assured me that it didn’t snow and ice over until January mostly. So we braved the trip and absolutely loved it. I can’t describe how cozy and special it was to be able to have our boys with us all in one cozy cabin so high up where the boys could enjoy the scenery. Wonderful lovely cabin and friendly host…thank you for answering all my questions about the accessibility! We will definitely return in the future!
