Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Hāwea

Lovely home and excellent amenities. It was very comfortable for 5 adults, the 2.5 bathrooms were great. Kitchen was amazing and the coffee machine was a pleasant bonus. Would love to stay here again!

Fantastic location for walking to local shops and restaurants, also for walking along the river. Spacious house, large garden, felt like home in the best way.

Excellent place to stay for family with 2 mature children, we enjoyed our 2 nights here, thank you. Cromwell property was as described, very functional and no problems. In a great area with shops nearby and we walked to restaurants, just without the expense and crowds of Queenstown.

Worked well for our family of 5. Clean and comfortable. Shirt drive to town is convenient.

Gorgeous home with tasteful furnishings and glass doors that open completely. Spacious and full of light . Fully equipped kitchen. Nice touch was fruit, flowers, veges and homemade biscuits to welcome. Excellent location very near the lake with beautiful garden and surroundings.

We had a wonderful 6 nights at Ron’s place. 4 very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. All facilities and amenities that you would hope and expect of a house that size. So useful to have supplies of kitchen and bathroom basics. Thank you - we hope to return

lovely view from dining room on second floor. It's across a park with mountain view. Only downside is any movement on second floor can be heard downstairs. Very spacious property for our family.

Modern, comfortable, clean, very satisfied and we had a comfortable stay.Behind the house is the famous hike by the river, and there is a supermarket next to it for everything, I felt too comfortable than staying at the lake.

This stunning loft cabin is nestled in a lovely winery. We spotted many adorable little animals, and the nights were incredibly peaceful. It had all the amenities we needed, and Lucie was always there to answer our questions. We would absolutely love to return.

We had a fantastic stay in Arrowtown. A beautifully kept space with some lovely additions such as the outdoor bath and personal recommendations on things to do. In a lovely spot a short and stunning walk to everything in town. In addition to all this we had a couple requests regarding early check ins and late check outs in which they could not have been more accommodating and responsive! It was greatly appreciated. We absolutely loved it here and hope to be back!! Would recommend to any friends and family.

This place is right on the edge of the lake, just a stones-throw to town. The outlook is stunning, the accommodation is so cozy and homely - it was like living in something from a magazine.

Highly recommended to stay here. The place is clean and cosy, and all the basic necessities were provided for! I came with my elderly parents, so appreciated that the place was a single storey apartment. You can park your car directly in front of the apartment which makes transferring of luggages much easier for us. The location was also very easy to drive to wanaka town and three parks. Victoria was also easy to communicate with (: You won’t regret booking this place! I will definitely stay here if I come to Wanaka again!

Loved our stay! The apartment was very cosy, spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly think of! Lots of street parking and quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. While we still preferred driving downtown, you could also walk through the nature strip within 10-15 minutes to be among all the cool restaurants and bars! Rachel was lovely to deal with - always proactive and clear and super friendly! Highly recommend :)

Great location. Walking distance to town and lake. Quiet rear section. Villa was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. A home away from home.

Stunning house in a stunning location. Was close enough for easy walk to lake and the town for restaurants, etc whilst being far enough away to be peaceful at night even during the new years celebrations.

Staying in this incredible home was the highlight of our trip. Mathurin & Jesse have a warm and welcoming home in an unbelievable setting. Hope we can come back one day.

Handy location and quiet

Amazing house in a beautiful scenic spot right on the lake. Photos don’t do justice. Super cozy and all the conveniences you could want. Right on lake Hayes walking path. Very responsive. Wine and local tips on arrival were lovely extra touch Our kids loved it too

The villa was beautiful and close to hotel and restaurant. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the food in the restaurant was amazing! This is a real treasure with all this history. Beautiful set up garden too!
