Awesome private cabin with a great location!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—everything we could have asked for. The hosts were amazing—responsive, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can’t wait to find our way back for another stay. Highly recommend!

This is a great home to stay in. Very well equipped and super clean. The location is ideally located within a 15 minute drive to Bryson City but tucked away from any busyness. We really enjoyed our stay here and the host was great at communicating. The only thing to be aware of is that at night you can see right into the upstairs bedroom through the large panoramic windows and there is another cabin facing that direction. Not a deal breaker but worth noting. Overall this place is great and I highly recommend.

Beautiful, secluded location. Perfect ti get away from it all. Make sure you bring anything you need with you, the closest town is 25 min away. Great hiking nearby.

This quiet first floor condo was amazing! It has the most gorgeous view of the lake and mountains from the warmth of the living room nestled up by the fire! The whole place is modernized and has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking and such. Sharon was very proactive in messaging back. We will definitely be returning come summertime! We had a wonderful stay, and absolutely loved the place.

What a charming, quiet getaway! We were busy with our daughter, and it was lovely to know that we could be in a quiet space when we were through being "busy". Everything was perfect. We walked the lake several times. The area is very familiar to us, and our purpose was not sight -seeing, so it was nice to have a homey place. Nicely decorated. Comfortable furniture. 5 stars!

Great location - a very short walk to the lakeside trail. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Alice and Philip were very responsive.

Comfortable beds, great spacious shower, and gorgeous balcony with a view over the creek. Relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

We needed an additional house for a family member's funeral. I actually went to find the house a couple of days ahead of our booking. Mary was outside so I told her I just wanted to find the house and see where it was. She took me on a tour of the apt. It's exactly as the listing says it is. There are a couple of low ceilings - especially in the bathroom. My son in law is 6'3" so he had to duck his head in a few places. The kitchen was perfect. Since our main house was a few miles away, we didn't do any cooking. If we were eating there, we just used the microwave. The coffee maker is only a 5 cup pot like they use in hotels, but I had a Keurig so it all worked out. (there were 3 coffee drinkers) On the + side, Mary did provide the coffee!! The beds were comfortable. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has two twins. We pushed them together for a king bed. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels were available. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Sarah’s apartment was perfect for a short weekend stay for a wedding. Comfortable bed, well stocked, and the area was beautiful and super convenient. Thanks for the nice stay!

Bree and Boyd were great hosts! Very responsive, had great local recommendations, and a place that felt like home. The backyard was great for our kid as snow had just fallen, so we all had plenty of room to have a snowball fight. The location was excellent - very close to downtown Highlands, a short drive to activities such as waterfalls, hiking, and snow tubing, but also felt very private. 10/10 would recommend staying with Bree and Boyd!

We had a wonderful stay and our kids had a great time too! It was so peaceful being right on the river. The host was very helpful and always quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

I would 100% stay here again. Steven was extremely responsive and accommodating. The place was spotless and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. It was overall a great vacation and we were so happy we picked this spot.

We loved our 8 day stay here. The area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking with our dog through the property and down the road through the neighborhood. The cabin is dog friendly but you would never know it because it was quite clean. Philip and Michelle were wonderful hosts and responded and acted quickly when we let them know the lightbulb in the kitchen had blown. They gave us some great recommendations on places to visit to see some spectacular views and waterfalls. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

A few words are not enough to express how beautiful B.T’s place was. The cabin was immaculate but what really stood out were the views. This was our first time visiting SC and we immediately fell in love with the scenery and hospitality. Driving around was also very easy the commute to grocery stores is just a few minutes away. We loved the hiking trail, the mountains, the waterfall everything is so beautiful. Even though the terrain was wet our 4 year old daughter was able to complete the entire hike. We really enjoyed this mini vacation and we look forward to coming back again soon.

We got the privilege of visiting the cabin in the snow and it was magical! A hitch in the snow is so fun! The location is amazing- close to everything but tucked into the woods a little bit! So close to Cashiers and a grocery store, great restaurants and the Sapphire ski. Cabin was decorated well and very clean! We made dinner both nights and kitchen was very accommodating! We would def recommend and come back! Thank you!!
