Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Almanor West

My wife myself and our dog had a fantastic time at Erica's cabin. It is located in a beautiful area close to the entrance of Lassen National Park. We look forward to coming back.

Loved this rental. It was perfect for our whole family including our dog. It was a safe neighboorhood and not completely isolated which we liked. The hot tub was perfect to soak in after playing in the snow. We have school aged children so we were able to let them play outside with our supervision and build snowman and have snowball fights. The golf course was a short distance so we were able to take several of the sleds Carolyn had for us and found a nice hill the kids were able to sled down for several hours. Overall great place and will visit again.

This is one of my favorite air bnbs. My family really wanted to take a trip to the snow before winter break ended and after searching we hedged our bets on Rekha and Shyam’s cabin in Mineral. The cabin was easy to find with well lit driveway and steps to enter, and the interior had everything we needed. The layout is reminiscent of other cabins we’ve stayed in before but the finishes are all nice new and clean. Even though it’s not huge square footage wise, the bedrooms offered enough privacy. I stayed here with my husband, our two children ages 10 and 12, and our Saint Bernard. My 10 year old slept in the loft, the futon was very comfortable and felt more like a traditional mattress. We were very happy that it snowed while we were there! The cabin is located on a “dead end” street with a moderate incline- it was PERFECT for sledding after it snowed. The living area has a great selection of music, books, and games; and the furniture is very comfortable and great for lounging.

We made our annual trip to Chester and stayed at our favorite place in town. The house and surroundings are excellent and each year the hosts surprise us with something new that they have added or improved upon. This year we enjoyed sitting on the new deck attached to the house complete with comfortable furnishings. They are artists at interior and exterior beautification. Denise and Rolf have provided wonderful suggestions for local hikes that allow dogs. Each hike has been fabulous and they share details and clear directions. We are so lucky to be able to bring our dog with us. The house and property are a perfect match for both humans and pups. And our dog is always glad to reconnect with Charlie and Tonka! We feel so welcomed and cared for. We highly recommend staying at this special place.

If you are looking for a peaceful area near the wilderness away from the city you will love this place! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the host is extremely attentive. Side note-Make sure you follow the checkout rules (they are detailed & listed for a reason) We missed an important instruction and the host had to do extra work.

Sabrina was very responsive and the place fit our needs well. It was very comfortable and easy to get in and out.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy and warm cabin! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and spend quality time together. We loved visiting Indian Falls and were thrilled with all the wonderful amenities. The BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit were fantastic, and the hot springs provided the perfect touch of relaxation. Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us—everything exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

The cabin near the meadow and Olsen's Barn was just right for our post-Christmas family weekend. The views are stunning and the cabin was so cozy. The hosts were so responsive and thoughtful-they even had a fire going when we arrived. Everything was just as described and the cabin was well stocked. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

The stay was exactly what we were looking for! It was so amazing and we will be back!
