Monthly Rentals in Ladra

This is a very cozy holiday home in a perfect location. We have stayed in lots of places perched in different European mountain ranges (Dolomites, Carinthian Alps, Picos de Europa, etc.) and the view from this house over the village and valley ranks among our favorites. The drive first from Kobarid into Drežnica and then from Drežnica up to the house is easy as well, and (apart from a very short segment right by the house) is all paved—in our experience it often takes driving some steep and harrowing backroads to get to a view this good, so it was quite convenient to be able to come and go so easily here (especially since you're close to so many great hikes and other destinations in every direction). Roman and Milena are generous and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home right away. Wifi was strong and consistent, allowing us to do a bit of remote work. The huge open fireplace is delightful. The kitchen is basic but very functional, and we did plenty of cooking. Perfect!

Erika’s place was very special! We thought the restaurant we were coming there for would be the highlight but that was not at all the case…it was Erika’s place and all the wonderful hikes we got to do during the peak of the crocuses blooming and the weather being just about perfect. I think we’ve gotten used to a slightly lower standard of cleanliness than we like as it’s hard to find a pristine kitchen and bathroom on Airbnb these days but we were pleasantly surprised with Erika’s place. It was even better than I was expecting from the pictures. I hope we will be back!

Barbara was a very friendly hostess who made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. She was always available for us and provided us with valuable excursion tips for the area. The small apartment was very lovingly designed and left nothing to be desired. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you need. We highly recommend the place.

absolutely lovely stay. We were with four and the place was perfect for us. Spacious house with comfortable beds, spectacular surroundings. Easy to find with the provided instructions. host was very kind and responsive. We will certainly like to come back. Also to note - we were staying in winter and the house was very lovely warm, both with central heating and an available woodstove
