Lac La Belle cabin rentals

Lori was a great host! We stayed here to ski at Mt Bohemia and had a great time.

On the pricier side for the area, at least for the time we needed when there weren’t many other options, but our expectations were far exceeded with a wonderful experience with both the place itself and Sam and Shelby as the hosts ! The place was beautiful, well kept, and with more upscale amenities, down to cutlery and dinnerware, than the typical Airbnb. Sam and Shelby clearly care about their place and it shows. Loved the wonderful layout, vibe of the furniture, and tasteful recent renovation. Most of all, in the heart of winter, the place was warm! No drafts, several heating systems, and felt great. Sam cleared the snow outside everyday. And communication was very good with responsive hosts for any small things we needed to ask about. Great stay in Copper Harbor a little bit away from Mount Bohemia where we came to ski. Highly recommending both this place and these hosts for a super stay !

This was our first Airbnb, our overall state was fantastic. Was only one small issue the night of check-in the property manager came right away fixed it, no other problems the rest of our stay. Very beautiful home with great views, had everything we needed in the kitchen.

It was my first time in the UP for the winter! Dave’s place was the perfect spot for our day trips around the Keweenaw peninsula. On our way to L’Anse it started snowing and Dave checked to make sure we made it and to let us know they were going to plow the driveway in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

This place is very warm and cozy, and in peaceful surroundings - great view of the lake. Well stocked with plenty of amenities. Wonderful hot water and the beds were comfy. Sherry was incredibly helpful and responsive and worked to get me some local suggestions. Their local history and familial connections was a bonus. We were there in height of winter (Feb.) would be curious to see it in summer as well.

Great space, great host. Love the location and the view. Plenty of room to sleep, eat, cook and play.

This place was great. The hosts were so kind!We were in the area to visit MTU for winter carnival and ended up playing in the snow around the Airbnb more than we even thought we would, it was such a calm and lovely area, it looked like Narnia with all the snowy trees. We got to see a deer kind of close to us even when we were loudly playing ourside. There was a convenience store about 10 minutes away that had most items we needed for a quick dinner and the prices were reasonable, with locally sourced eggs which was unexpected and exciting! Even better was we forgot to buy or bring maple syrup and the hosts brought some over to us at 8 in the evening and saved our breakfast, it was so generous of them and we are so grateful! We would love to stay here in the warmer months too!! Also we slid into some snow one afternoon a few blocks away from the Airbnb and got stuck, and 4 people drove by and all offered to help us and they got us out quickly, so the neighbors are great too. :)

The Harbor Retreat is an awesome place to stay in Copper Harbor. Clean, quiet, walking distance to groceries and mtb trailheads are easy to get to. Paul and Jill are great hosts and are readily available. AND, spectacular late fall colors. The couple that stayed with me absolutely loved the place. Judy could not make it but she and I hope to be at the harbor house next year.

Stayed here for a snowmobile trip. Perfect location, could ride north and south. Very clean older home with everything you would need. We will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Tracy’s place. We didn’t want to leave! The view was incredible, neighbors nearby but still had privacy, and close to downtown L’Anse if we needed anything. The fireplace and sauna added so much to our already relaxing stay. The layout and decor of the cabin was cute and perfect for the two of us. Tracy was great at communicating and checking to see if we needed anything without being overbearing. We definitely want to come for another stay at Rock Beach! Thank you so much, Tracy!

Our stay here was perfect for our annual ice fishing trip. Convenient location, and the home was clean and clearly well taken care of. We will definitely be returning next year!

Exceptional! We were so comfortable in every way. Donna and her husband were extremely kind and responsive throughout our stay. The house had a well stocked kitchen, everything was in great working order and seemed brand new. The place was so clean! We never had problems with enough hot water for the four of us. Beds were quite comfortable, got better sleep here than I’ve had in a while. We love spending time in the UP and look forward to many more stays at this location. Thanks for a terrific stay!!

Vita, has a Class A place!!! we enjoyed all the little things she did to make us comfortable without being obvious... Handwritten letter, beer, soda, ice in the refrig, great coffee, great breakfast snacks and kitchen you would swear was your own with all of the amenities. Plus theater in the basement, Great outside accommodations, didn't get to use the grill but wanted to. Let's just just say that this home is the Pinnacle of Houghton! My highest recommendation! Bravo!!!!

Great place to stay while traveling to tour Michigan Tech. House was clean, communication was great.
