Super class! Lovingly furnished, everything you need, enough space to retreat. Catherine and Patrick are very relaxed, friendly hosts, very helpful. For us it was the perfect holiday location: quiet, beautifully located (in a cul-de-sac), walking 5 minutes to the marketplace, 15 minutes to the beach, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets... everything super easy to reach. Absolute travel recommendation! We are happy!

We had a pleasant stay with the family. The house is perfect for a couple with children and very well-located. We were able to visit the whole island by bike thanks to the central square that La Couarde sur Mer occupies, leaving our bikes in the courtyard without any problem. I highly recommend Angèle's place for a stay in Île de Ré!:)

Cécile was very accommodating on the check-in and check-out conditions. I would also have preferred, as stated in one of the reviews, that an uncleaned option could be offered. Despite this lack of option, which is a real inconvenience when we are getting older, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sparkling clean, great location right by the harbour and lots of things to do on the doorstep. We had 2 small kids and it was ideal, with a nice courtyard to sit in when kids were asleep. Katia was very responsive and friendly.
