Rita was the kindest host. The place was perfect and beautiful. We didn’t wanna leave, it’s not in the city centre but that’s what we wanted. We even saw northern lights from the Airbnb. We had the best stay especially thanks to Rita’s hospitality. She went above and beyond to help us in every way she could. The place itself was short of nothing, amazing views, great space, very well decorated and clean. Definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic location next to xc ski trail, close to Tromso. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis from Anette's balcony! Lovely house thank-you for letting us stay.

Thanks for the opportunity to stay with you, we had a great time. Skiing on the surrounding hills was fantastic. It would just be a good idea to better equip the kitchen when we cook for nine people - bigger pots, etc. Thanks a lot, though, Martin

Innika's house is really beautiful and spacious. We were there as a big family and enjoyed our time in the house. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, toilets were clean and kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare vegetarian meals. We were able to spot a streak of northern light from the parking one night. Also, we enjoyed the Sauna which Innika has installed. The trip to Tromso city was only 40 minutes by car, despite the roads being completely covered with snow during our time of Stay. We loved our experience and would definitely come back here.

Truly an amazing experience at Thomas’s house. It embodies the spirit of a typical, authentic and cozy norwegian hytte with everything you need, add to that the view over the fjords and the sauna in the backyard and you’ll feel like in a Hallmark movie during Christmas. We also saw the Northern Lights from the cabin 2 nights in a row. The communication with the hosts was very easy and efficient. I truly recommend it to anyone loving nature, peace and quiet :)

Stayed for two nights before flying home again. Place was clean and well equipped. Close to the airport and close enough to the center of Tromsø as well. Responsive friendly host. Would recommend to stay here.

Definitely recommend! Thorleif gave us great tips and also equipped with snowshoes on site, so we could directly make a snow hike behind the house to a viewpoint far from the tourist groups. Very helpful, likeable, simple. The location was easily accessible by bus and the supermarket right around the corner is also a plus. Thanks!

The house is very homy and the scenery around the house is beautiful although I didn’t see the northern light. The host is very helpful and fast respons. I will be back again one day. Thank you Kamila and Eirik.

Very bright, comfortable apartment, with exceptional views of the fjord. Downtown is a 25-minute walk away. Several buses 5 minutes from the apartment and direct access to the airport. Very quiet area with a large park (cross-country skiing trail, lake). Large supermarket nearby. No TV in the apartment and wifi without any problem. No heating in the bedrooms and cents very good for sleeping (in winter provide warm pajamas) but the living room and bathroom are very well heated.

We felt very comfortable in Eivinds and Kristin's house from the beginning, nothing was missing, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Communication with both was very good. We love to relax by the fireplace after a day out and were worried that the existing wood for 3 evenings is not enough. Without hesitation, Eivind activated his father and shortly after, there was an additional wooden bag outside the door. His family also surprised us with freshly roasted fish fries - a great and warm gesture! The sauna is also great and very spacious. The bed for two quite tight, soft mattress, the bedding is great and cuddly! We can fully recommend the house.

Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

Great secluded cottage. Makes for easy viewing of the Auroras.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. It was even better than the pictures. Very cosy and tastefully decorated, well equipped kitchen, wonderful oven and sauna… and the view was just beautiful. It’s a great place to rewind and just be. You will need a car. There’s nothing but nature around you. But it’s a gem. Don’t miss it!

We had a wonderful stay at Christine’s place during our weekend in Tromso. A big family house, accommodation is right by a beautiful Fjord where you can see the Aurora if you’re lucky. The house is well stocked and has everything you’d need when on vacation with a big group. The location is a bit far away from the main town but reachable by a ~12 euro taxi. Thanks again to the hosts for being super responsive and the homemade cinnamon rolls :)

The cabin is idyllically located by a water with surrounding pine forests and mountains. Aurora Spot is a correct name. There was weather, so you northern lights, and you saw it very well since there is little light noise in the surrounding area. The cabin is sheltered and you experience it as private as it is not in a stuffed cabin field. There are many available leisure activities associated with the cabin such as snowshoes, fishing equipment, fire pit, sledges, ice skates and kayaks. We enjoyed every morning when in the kitchen window we got to see birds, squirrels and hares come to one of the many food spots on the property. The cabin itself is an authentic 70s cabin that is very true to the style. We celebrated Christmas 2024 here, and enjoyed lovely winter conditions, fireplace and wood burning and fire pit. The cabin has all the important amenities in the bathroom and kitchen, and the latter is very well equipped. The cabin also has many games and inside toys, but we did not take advantage of these as we preferred to be as possible outside in the lovely surroundings.

We had a very nice time in this great house. It had everything you needed and the area was very nice. The contact with Daniel was very friendly and worked out very well. We will be happy to come back.

We had the most wonderful stay at Linn and Hans’ place! It was absolutely perfect. We paid a little extra for Hans to give us a lift from the airport as we didn’t have a car. At the end of our trip, we walked to the bus stop to get back to town. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, incredible views, a sense of space, this is the one. The cosiest cabin, and snowshoe walks you can take straight from the door. It’s not very far from a cross country ski track, so if you had xc skis you could reasonably get out on them. The walk up to the cabin is about 15 minutes if you’re a little unfit (like I am!) but it’s worth it for the extra elevation and views you get for it. Of course - one thing we were anxious not to miss were the Northern Lights and you can see these from the garden! We had a fantastic show for a couple of nights and could pop in and warm up while waiting for them to come out! If you want an authentic Norwegian cabin experience, a reasonable distance from Tromsø, this is it!

Dear Amadeus and Family, we had an amazing time on your beautiful farm. The place is truly beautiful. You lent us snow shoes so we were able to hike some snowy mountains, see reindeer and moose and even the northern lights. Tromsø isn't too far away so we were able to visit some pretty and impressive places like the polar museum or the beautiful cathedral. We really enjoyed our stay especially due to your and your family's kindness. Whether we had a question, were in need of firewood or snowed in on our way to the airport at six in the morning, you were always kind and helpful. You even gifted us some of your farm's eggs, some champagne or soda, just because. Thank you very much! We can really recommend this airbnb. It's surroundings are beautiful and you reach it easily. You can park direktly on the farm. The hut is well equipped and it lacks nothing. There was a snowstorm going on and we were still very warm and cozy. Check in and out were easy. The hosts are very kind. 10/10

Great Hosts, great accommodation! Only thing to keep in mind is that with an EV the next charging station is about half an hour away.

The place was just as described and perfect to enjoy the beautiful surroundings! It was so nice and quiet and perfect for a little getaway. The accommodation invites you to simply start the day relaxed and enjoy the view of the water and the mountains! Maya always responded quickly, gave tips and provided a very good description of the accommodation, so everything went perfectly. Always happy to come back!
