Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Koggala Lake

We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment, it was a great place to base ourselves and travel around Galle and the southern beaches each day. If we had any issues, they were responded to quickly and efficiently. The apartment security is very good, and so helpful having a supermarket in the complex. We would definitely stay here again.

A home away from home with a host that is at the top of his game. Our time at The Old Chilli House was brilliant. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Kris is super friendly, helpful, and instantly makes you feel at home. We booked the cooking class with his lovely wife, which was absolutely delicious - we can’t wait to share a taste of what we learned with our friends back home. Breakfast on the balcony is a wonderful touch and tasted amazing! Kris offers great advice on places to visit in the local area and even provides a tuk-tuk service to get you there if he is available. He kindly dropped us off at our next stay (although we were sad to say goodbye) and even organised our taxi to the airport for our last day in Sri Lanka. The Old Chilli House is an absolute must if you’re staying in the Unawatuna/Galle area!

We were very lucky to have found this place, an absolutely gem! My family and I felt right at home, Sumudu was an excellent host, very helpful and thoughtful. Highly recommend!!!

The property is surrounded by lush greenery and has a sweeping view of the beach. Sunrise and sunset can only be described in one word - magical! The apartment is exactly as described in the listing. It is charming, cosy and has such great energy. Everything you may possibly need is provided for. Samurdhi was an incredible host and exceeded all our expectations. He truly went above and beyond in ensuring our stay was comfortable. On top of that, he want out of his way to provide us with all sorts of local recommendations. We are beyond grateful for the kindness and hospitality we received during our stay.

Very welcoming family upon arrival and right up until we leave they helped us with what ever we needed. Location is little out the way from the main strip but Tuk Tuk and bike hire is very cheap so isn’t an issue. Would recommend

Great welcome from Amila and her family. The house is a little out of the way, but Alima transports us wherever we want. The price is reasonable and displayed in the room. Alima and his wife cooks very well. We would recommend it.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

The apartment is located on the first floor of a three-story building; the family of the owner of the apartment lives on the second floor. You will also have access to the roof on which peacocks fly. The apartments are large, you have a full kitchen with (microwave, blender, rice cooker, stove) there is an ironing board and iron. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. The owner also bought additional shampoo and hair conditioner. The house itself is located not far from the roadway, but the sounds of cars are absolutely inaudible. Keep in mind that the house is located on the ground floor and some insects that are not dangerous may enter you. There were some interruptions with the Internet, but the owner did everything possible to correct the situation, but I advise you to buy an additional SIM card with Internet. The owner speaks very good English and helps with all questions. If you decide to stay you will feel safe with this family😊

We had a very enjoyable 4nts here staying right on the beach in a well kept villa. Very attentive host who made a lovely breakfast each morning - do try Sunil’s amazing banana pancakes! The fresh fruit each morning was varied and very generous. Sunil is a very friendly host who made us feel very welcome - thank you!

wonderful colonial villa in quiet neighborhood. there as a bit of confusion at check in but that was sorted out easily . Nice staff and responsive manager , who recommended us to go to a very nice beach side restaurant " la tartaruga" in Unawatuna! highly reccommended

This place is honestly heaven on earth! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is exceptional and prepares the best breakfast in the morning. Really 10/10. But the best is yet to come: the terrace. Never experienced such a nice and beautiful place directly at the beach. We will definitely see us again! Thank you for such a nice stay! :)

We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

Amazing apartment, just like in the photos – with a breathtaking view of the ocean. This place is exactly as advertised and even better in person! The panoramic ocean views from the apartment are absolutely stunning. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain it. Everything was fresh, organized, and well-kept, which made our stay even more comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there are plenty of towels, toiletries, and other essentials. The attention to detail made it feel like home. Sam was incredibly responsive and welcoming from the moment we booked. They made sure we had all the information we needed, provided great local recommendations. Cons: The ocean in this area is not ideal for swimming – the waters can be a bit rough. However, a short tuk-tuk ride will take you to a much better beach with calmer waters.

Danoja’s apartment was fantastic value for money. It was exactly as described and was a perfect place to stay to enjoy Christmas with family and friends in the vicinity. Danoja was extremely flexible and accommodating. She allowed us to keep the apartment until our late night departure even though she had a booking for the next day. Highly recommended for a great value convenient stay in Galle.

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

The kind of host and stay I like: No drama + kindness and reasonable requests easily accommodated. We were upstairs but never heard a peep from anyone downstairs. It felt good knowing they were there. Quiet area within a quick and cheap tuktuk ride to beach and restaurants. Beautiful, historical buddhist temple up the street. About 15 minute walk to beach along quiet road. Reliable and fast internet. I recommend without hesitation.
