Monthly Rentals in Kilkenny

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at the Alder Cabin, which just shows how much we love it. The large window to the trees is my favourite part. We've been there both times in the autumn, and it's lovely to have a view to the falling leaves. Even though you get the feeling of being in a very remote place, it's actually not too far from Kilkenny city center. We walked to the city every day, which takes a bit but is a lovely walk. The cabin itself strikes a great balance between cozy and functional: you don't have too much clutter, but you still have everything you need there. Finally, Donna is an amazing host! She is always available if you have any questions, and leaves you with a really thoughtful set of breakfast items. When we stayed here for a week, she also left us a new batch of fire wood halfway through our stay in case we ran out. All this while being extremely respectful of our privacy! We also noticed they renovated the bathroom recently, and it's perfect!

Breda & Joe’s place was exactly what I needed! If you’re wanting some time in the Irish countryside, off the beaten path, this is the place for you! The apartment has everything that one could need, I felt right at home. The town of Borris is beautiful, and if you’re able, definitely spend a day walking around enjoying the scenery. There are loads of beautiful places (i.e., Kilkenny, JFK Arboretum) only a 30 min drive away as well! I loved waking up to the mountain views and horses each morning — a real treat!
