Monthly Rentals in Kildun

We had a brilliant stay at Áine’s property! It is conveniently located less than a five minute drive from Westport town and very easy to find. We had a smooth check in facilitated by Margaret the caretaker who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the property. The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for a group due to the extra beds in the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for self catering. Overall, Áine was a great host and we had a fabulous stay at her property.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

Our stay at Irma's Cuckoos nest was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. from the moment of check-in until leaving it was everything it promised to be. We stayed in February, and even the rain added a sense of peace of tranquility to our stay. Sitting out every morning listening to the world around this little isolated dream lodge. There was a constant trickle of animal visitors across the days we were there. From the wild robins and thrushes to the cheeky and friendly chicken who came up to keep us company and see what bugs were about. We went for walks many of the days, and every local we past was so kind and friendly, it just made the stay feel that more wholesome. We will most certainly be back as often as we can. Beyond the comfort of the cabin, Irma herself was an amazing host, offering any and all help we needed and was incredibly kind and communicative our whole stay. 5 stars all around.

The place is lovely, looking out onto trees and greenery with mountains in the background. The place had everything I needed for a 2 week stay, and the walks around the local area are beautiful. The cabin is quite close to the road which is busy, and so there is quite a bit of road noise which drowns out the sound of the babbling brook so idealically murmuring next to the cabin. Bathroom is small but totally functional. What I thought was an oven in the photos was a microwave but the kitchen is functional. Had a spacious feeling inside, the host and her sister are beautiful and generous. I was able to do my laundry at the Old Rectory. A beautiful and much enjoyed time. The bus to Westport is easy to catch so its simple to get around without a car. Recommend this cute little cabin
