Monthly Rentals in Kaštel Stari

Lovely little home near the centre of Split that was great for our travel plans. We were pleasantly surprised at the sight of a large television in the bedroom that we didn’t see in the photos, which made for a good movie night when it was stormy. As others have commented on, you can hear people walking along the road, and in the house next door but this didn’t disturb us at all. The roads surrounding the house are quiet at night so we managed to get undisturbed rest. Would definitely rebook the next time I’m in Split!

Shannon shared that some addresses don't show up on GPS, so her photos were extremely helpful. Located in a quaint "fishing village" ( my terms), even though a distance from Old City( local bus very handy), if we ever came back to the area, this would be a first choice! hands down! Even though a language barrier existed, any issues, however slight, were easily addressed by Shannon or her cohost, Ante. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay. And after flights and flights of stairs between Split, Medjugore, and Dubrovinik....a ground level apartment with huge open windows...added to the charm.

Truly enjoyed my stay at Mirela's place. It is a very lovely studio apartment and it has everything for a comfy stay. The location is also good: 15min to the nearest beach and 10min walk to the bus station from which it is so easy to get to Split or to Trogir. I love Kastela because there is a nice promenade along the sea with lots of cafes, restaurants and beaches. Mirela is the best and friendliest host:) She treated me with lots of tasty food and local home olive oil:) It was such a pleasure to be her guest:) I am very happy that I chose this place. Strongly recommended!

[ + ] Bikes, kitchen, beautiful neighborhood. [ - ] Dilapidated old mattress, slow upload on WiFi. Not perfect, but the love and attention to detail is apparent throughout. Gorgeous area, too.
