House vacation rentals in Karori

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The hosts have exquisite taste, the furniture and styling is unique, and makes this property feel like a home, and not some generic airbnb. The outdoor area is obviously a highlight, the pool got a lot of use, the kids absolutely loved it. Also the sauna was a real treat too. The indoor/outdoor flow was great, and created a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The playground was just across the road, and the beach a 5 min walk. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be keen to return.

What a beautiful space to call home for a long weekend. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in the door. The house spotless, very organised and Louise even had fresh milk, bread and condiments in the fridge for us. Last minute the event we were in Wellington for was postponed a day and Louise was really quick to assist us in staying one extra night. I would highly recommend staying in her house, it’s in the most quiet peaceful setting surrounded by native bush and is handy to shops, restaurants and some beautiful hikes.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

Kelvin is the best host you can ever find. He goes out of his way to make sure we are properly settled in every aspect. The house is modern and well maintained. And amenities are as good as being at home, perhaps better in many aspects. Close to the town, close to all the retreats at the gorge, and the river is at a stone throw distance. There is actually a fresh water pool within the property, water sourced form the Otaki river. So its like swimming in river water, just in the front yard.

A fantastic home to relax by the pool and enjoy the sun. Great outdoor space and plenty of room in each bedroom. We were very comfortable here and would recommend Dianne’s home to others!

The house was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. It was perfect for a large group of us heading to event. We would all like to come back and extend our stay longer next time 😊

A lovely property for our whole family with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone happy. We’ll definitely be back - it was well worth the cost and the owners/carers are helpful and friendly. A great location in both sunny and wet weather conditions.

We had a fantastic stay at Suzanne’s. Their home is very spacious, lots of beautiful natural light and had absolutely everything we needed. An easy walk up into the hills to Butterfly Creek and very close to the beach. The house was very well equipped and Suzanne and Glen were fantastic to deal with. It was also a very quiet neighbourhood and we loved the bird life. Highly recommend.

Great house in a beautiful location. Excellent amenities, beautiful design, perfect for travelling with pups. A few notes: - The # of steps up to the unit might be underestimated by a factor of ~5. Not recommended unless you're reasonably fit. - The bedroom doors don't latch. There are hook-style locks provided....on the outside of the door. Not a huge deal, just means you need to shove something under the door if you want to keep the dogs from nosing their way in. - The water from the tap gets _really_ hot. This is great for some things (shaving) and less great for others (shower, dishwashing) Overall an excellent spot!

We had a great experience over there, even if we were for just one day. Rooms and all the amenities were excellent. We recommend it to everyone who comes to explore wellington and also we should tell this is the cheapest one we can find with all great facilities.

We had a very comfortable stay at this property. We had the perfect amount of space, comfy beds, laundry, and a fully equipped kitchen. The coffee maker was a real asset! We could easily walk to restaurants all the city sights. Owner's were very helpful and responded quickly when we had a question. I would love to stay here again.

The location was great and I loved that it was fully fenced. The heated floors and heat pumps were excellent. Appreciated having groceries in the home to utilise on arrival such as dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and tea and coffee making facilities. Was a great stay with my family and we would happily stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! The house was perfect for our needs. Few little shops walkable. The Avalon Park at the end of the road was phenomena. Niki alway responded within a few minutes.

Lovely house in the heart of Petone. I have stayed in Petone a few times before and this was my first Airbnb and will stay again if I visit. It’s right in between the foreshore and the Jackson Street restaurants. Easy walk to Petone station which is only a 15 minute ride to Wellington plus the train also goes to Upper/ Lower Hutt which was easy to see my friends who live there or have them down for dinner in Jackson Street.

Andreas place was an awesome little place that had everything I could have needed. I travel a lot for work and having home comforts away from home is exactly what I got. Place was super easy to find, clean and comfortable. I would 100% stay again, it will be a place I remember to try book first next time I'm in the Hutt. Andrea is friendly and responsive, but not overbearing either which was great. Thanks Andrea, see you again next time!

My children and I have been to stay here a few times now, and it's always a great experience. Cathy is very welcoming, and a great communicator. Plus, there is plenty of space, a well provisioned kitchen, comfortable beds, and we love that Mana Beach and the Camborne Walkway are right on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

Kara’s place is exactly as described it to be, very clean, comfortable & modern with all amenities. For what we needed, it was super convenient to the event we were there for, Kara was so responsive to us & was very flexible with check-in time slightly earlier. Would visit again & recommend to others in future.

Wow, a stunning place, with a fantastic view. Richard and Sarah gave us detailed instructions and recommendations for eating locally. Sarah had thought of everything needed for a great stay. We really enjoyed the quirky cable car and lovely settings.
