Monthly Rentals in Jefferson Davis County

We made a last minute decision to rent an airbnb a couple hours from us just to get out into the woods in a nice quiet space! This place is even prettier in person than the photos show. It’s so serene and quiet! Beautiful space. We sat by the campfire and just enjoyed the sounds of nature! We will absolutely be back again!

Phyllis was a great host. She gave me a tour of the beautiful property, gave me some recommendations for places to stop and eat on the way in, and always checked in via text to make sure I was ok or if I needed anything. Definitely plan to come back during some warmer weather to hop in the lake.

We really felt at home and Faye's place. She is so sweet and let us check in early since severe weather was coming and we were cycling in. The house is spacious with some beautiful details, like the gorgeous headboard in the master bedroom, and the master shower has an old-school shower head that provides strong flow to massage sore muscles at the end of the day! Faye left some snacks for us and even a brand-new flashlight and LED push light in case the power went out during the storm. We appreciated the full-sized washer and dryer, and Faye had detergent and spot remover too. This place is a block and a half from the Trace--so convenient--and Faye gave us recommendations for eating and shopping in town. There are restaurants in Bassfield that aren't on the map apps, and you can buy some produce at the Dollar General too, so know that Bassfield is a good stop on the Trace! We stayed two nights and biked to Prentiss and back as our day 3 cycling the Trace. Highly recommend.
