Alison and Jeremy were quick to reply and very helpful when planning our trip. House Martin cottage was well equipped, extremely clean and I would highly recommend especially if travelling with young children as everything we needed was provided, as listed in the cottage details. The wine, snacks and milk were much appreciated too. We weren’t blessed with great weather so the swimming pool and games room were an added bonus. We will definitely return if holidaying in Devon again.

Beautiful place - comfortable, lovely and inviting. Had everything we needed and was a great distance to the different eateries and train station. Host was wonderful and responsive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will happily return in the future

Had a lovely stay at the windmill, such a unique place. The rooms were all cosy without feeling cramped and had everything we needed. Lovely soft bed and comfy furniture throughout. Easy to use hob and oven etc. We were worried it might be cold but it was well heated. The steps were steep, especially up to the top room but well worth it for the stunning panoramic views. Very happy just sitting and gazing out the window, watching a group of buzzards soar the skies. We had lovely weather and the location was great for day trips to coastal towns or Dartmoor. Would recommend Hay Tor and Hound Tor for a good walk. Sue was lovely, very responsive and helpful throughout. Couldn't recommend more if you're looking for somewhere special!
