Great stay for the holiday! The home was exceptionally clean, beautiful and private view from the back porch and the host was very responsive. Would stay again.

Everything was great! The house is lovely and exactly as pictured. It was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The instructions were clear, and communication with the host was seamless. Would definitely recommend!

Peggy was an amazing host! The space was thoughtfully decorated and the homemade pimento cheese was so thoughtful. We appreciated the coffee bar and board games and the space was perfect for us. We hope to return to 12 Oaks soon!

The Fish Away is such a beautiful, peaceful oasis. The home was very clean, in a good location, the host was responsive and even let us check in early that fit our schedule better! It is on a good size lot for the lake so there is plenty of room outside. They have a beautiful back porch and pier where you can look out at the lake. Would definitely recommend! And would love to visit again!!

We enjoyed our stay and the hosts provided all that we needed to feel right at home. They were also very helpful and quick to respond when we had a question. Plus, only 2 short blocks to the ocean!

Pros- -Clean, well equipped house -Close to beach, boardwalk and restaurants -In a nice, quiet neighborhood - Felt safe -Responsive, friendly host and manager -Golf carts available to rent -Reasonable check out requirements Cons- -Next door neighbor's yard and pool were gross (no fault of host/property and didn't directly impact our stay) -Dishwasher and washing machine are kind of loud -Blue golf cart's battery didn't last very long

We are so happy that we stayed at the Rivers! Everyone young and old had a great time. The estate is so private and beautiful we could not believe it. The home is amazing and well stocked. We enjoyed the sun rises and sunsets so much. We had kayaks delivered and explored the area and it was something dreams are made of in a fairytale. The elevator allowed us to comfortably enjoy this home with older members of our family with ease. The nature and bird wildlife is just incredible. from the Anhingas swimming in the Cape Fear River and the Kingfisher flying back and forth over the pond to the plentiful Bluebirds we constantly entertained. We can’t wait to visit again and transport to serenity. Thank you for a vacation that will always be remembered ❤️

We had a wonderful experience!! Suzanne was great!! Her place was spotless!! She left water and snacks on the kitchen table for us to enjoy :) It's the small things that make the best impression. The amenties were very nice. The location was great. We walked to restaurants , beach & shopping :) We would love the opportunity to stay at Suzanne's again. I highly recommend.

This was a true home away from home! From the moment we arrived until our departure, my family and I felt at home. The only difference between our own home and this one was the address. The location was even better, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood where the residents welcomed and treated us as neighbors. The interior of the home was impeccable, with everything in its place. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a home away from home.

Enjoyed our stay, close to all the main activities in Carolina Beach. We were in town for a short trip, but liked our weekend here 🙂

Great view of the ocean from the top floor bedrooms. Loved the hammock, and the large kitchen space downstairs. Beach was nice and quiet with beautiful weather most days for fishing. Great place to stay for our large family vacation.

We had a wonderful visit to Carolina Beach. The house was spacious, beautiful and immaculate. We strolled the few blocks to the beach daily. The owners graciously helped us locate a tire repair shop as we had a flat tire shortly before arriving. The area was inundated with 20” of rain several days before we arrived. It was shocking how quickly the businesses recovered.

Our stay was great. The unit was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The area was quiet and close to places we wanted to visit. An easy drive to Southport or down into the southern end of Oak Island, an easy walk to the beach and across from Oak Island Golf Club. Watching the sunset from the porch was amazing! Amber was easy to work with and quickly responded to our questions. Thanks, we'll be back!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Our toddler loved the house, it allowed plenty of space for the late night zooming to be had. It was a very short walk to the beach and super close to great restaurants! Sharon was super responsive and helpful with our questions! We loved it!

What can I say about Giselle and her beautiful home. She was amazing. I booked her place for my two uncles and she treated them like family. Her place was better than pictured. Giselle was very quick to respond to any of my messages. Her home was clean and welcoming, very well stocked and she even provided snacks. Going forward when I have family in town I will book with Giselle.
