Monthly Rentals in Innerhadden

We took our little 6 month old girl for her first trip to Scotland and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay. Such a beautiful home hidden away in the hills. Couldn’t fault the property at all and it had all the extras we needed for our baby too. Thank you so much for an amazing week.

Lovely stay at Maragdubh-very clean, comfortable and a great location. I was extremely lucky with the September weather-mostly warm and sunny-and enjoyed lots of local mountain biking whilst there. There are some great routes nearby, although some others, I packed the bike into the car and drove 20-30 mins for variety. Rose very kindly rang me on the evening of arrival to make sure all was well, and I had settled in.

Can’t say enough top things about our stay in this delightful oasis. The property was in immaculate condition; w/ clear instructions in a friendly welcome letter, alongside a couple of drams of warming whisky! Yes please! A fine sized single room (w/ adjoining bathroom) contained everything needed for a restful, entertaining, warm, cosy, clean, peaceful, recuperative short term getaway. Lovely wee touches & attention to detail much appreciated. Helpful hosts Jill & Francis were amiable, superswift & responsive in replying to any query +/or request. From suggestions for local attractions, walks, things to see ‘n’ do ~ to how to handle the heating. Aberfeldy is stunning, fun & friendly. We ate out a lot! The Three Lemons restaurant & the Cow & Parrot Coffee Store were more-ish magnets for us; & the Watermill for books & breakfast was never going to be overlooked. All of which were within a picturesque 5-10 minute walk. Speaking of walks, don’t miss The Birks if walking is your thing!

We just had the most wonderful stay at Sadhara bothy. The location is remote and stunning, perfect for a peace and quiet getaway. The bothy is well equipped, clean and cosy. The fireplace got the bothy nice and toasty. It's also a 20 min drive through beautiful red deer moorland to the train station where we picked up some fantastic cake to eat on the train and watch the awesome scenery go by on the west highland line. There were beautiful walks through the blackwood, a pristine loch you could get out on, and pleanty of wildlife to spot. Will have to go back again to explore more.
