We enjoyed this historic house with the high rooms. The bedroom is super beautiful. Also the garden gave us fresh sweet Mangos every day. Parking in Igueste is not easy and if you are not familiar with mountain roads this might not be your place.

The minute we arrived late one December evening we felt at home. Maria/Loli had been super communicative in the run up to our stay and had someone waiting for us at the car park to help carry suitcases down to the house. It is the equivalent of two long flights of stairs and was fine for us as well as my mother who had pneumonia a few years ago. We just took it slowly and enjoyed the walk. The view when we woke up was breathtaking; the Atlantic Ocean, tall cliffs, moored ships and exotic allotments beautifully cared for by villagers. Some days we were even able to see Gran Canaria on the horizon. Everything in the house works well, the beds and pillows are surprisingly comfortable, the swimming pool water is warm, there’s lots of storage space. We would happily stay here again, there’s a beautiful walk up the cliff opposite, another further up the valley past gardens and into the wild landscape of the north. For a beach day there’s Teresitas and Gaviotas. Switch off at Guacimara!

What a wonderful and unique experience - stylish and homely apartment with all amenities required and more for our week long stay. Stunning surrounds and the view from the balcony was one of a kind. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean was incredible. Only a short drive to the quaint town of San Andres with delightful little restaurants, grocery stores and another beach. Pedro is the perfect host, helpful, responsive and thoughtful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
