Monthly Rentals in Homestead Valley

What a lovely stay we had :) Gorgeous, secluded and private. We loved the hot tub and hanging out in the yard. The heating inside worked very well, which was great for this cold February. I wouldn’t recommend planning on any movie nights or getting computer work done, as the wifi wasn’t quite working. But it was nice to disconnect and amazing overall!

We loved staying here. The stars were breathtaking, the place was beautifully decorated, and it was hard not to fall in love with the place. We especially enjoyed the reading nook and stargazing deck, and I was personally a huge fan of the lightbulbs they had in the bedroom. (Iykyk) I will say, it was really windy the first night of our trip and the strong gusts made a loud tapping noise right above the bed. The screen door also wouldn’t lock so it was sliding open and shut as well as rocking loudly in its frame. Both of these kept us awake for most of the night until the wind stopped. Weather is not something the hosts can control, but something to be mindful of - the high desert can have crazy wind! Also, we were surprised by some of the surrounding properties and thought maybe we were lost for a few moments. The enclosed area makes it feel safer but something to know ahead of time. Overall, I recommend staying here. It’s a nice and cozy find.

Karma is a special host. She hosts like she is hosting family. Our highest recommendation. We return to the Owl House regularly.

The house was pleasant, two bedrooms, a couch, and a roll out bed for accommodations. Shared bathroom in the front room area. Kitchen table with seating for 4. Direct dirt road access to the backside of king of the hammers/Johnson valley riding area. Overall very pleased with my stay.
