This Christmas, my wife and I spent a week cozied up in what I can only describe as the most charming coastal home! The home itself has everything we needed. It felt both cozy yet grand. We were very comfortable in every aspect. In fact, we both said we got some of the best sleep of our lives! This idyllic cottage set the stage for so many unforgettable moments. We enjoyed walks along the road, the moss-covered stone walls, greeted the sweet neighboring cows, explored the tide pools, cooked meals together using fresh vegetables from the garden, watched Christmas movies, and ventured into nearby Galway for shopping, pub life, and walked the Christmas Market as it is a short drive from the village. A fabulous holiday in the books and we are already talking about our return to this beautiful part of the world.

John is a great host - quick communication and ready to help, and his recommendations were really good. We had a lovely stay in The Stables and it was a perfect point to explore The Burren. Fantastic walks and amazing scenery. Comfortable bed and good facilities including the cozy stove. Would recommend without hesitation and I think we’ll be back before too long.

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!
