Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hokandara

Suresh was an excellent host and very accommodating. I had booked this place for my parents visit to Sri Lanka to visit family. What stood out to me was the location since it made it convenient to visit family. My parents absolutely loved their stay here! The home itself was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and had a very cozy and modern feel. My parents felt very comfortable and safe during their stay. It was a pleasure communicating with Suresh, he replied promptly to all of my questions and was very flexible with the check in process. Overall, my parents really enjoyed their stay here and would definitely stay here again on their next visit!

My family and I, wanted a place in Colombo for a month. After looking for a long time, we finally found this apartment, which truly exceeded our expectations. The best thing is the property it self which has many facilities such as the gym, pool, supermarket and an ATM. There are many restaurants close by aswell. Overall the experience was great. The only drawback if any I would say is the height of the bed, which is very low to the ground. Other than that fantastic place.

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Ranil should more clearly explain regarding the service being provided by the staff. When we ordered this villa we were not even aware of the fact there were services included and we had our own cook, maintenance specialist and a personal manager. Apart from that, everything was amazing. This villa is for somebody who wants quiet and be away from civilization for a while

this place and location is quite awesome. loved everything about it. a minute walking distance from good restaurants and the beach. really a treasure of a place and excellent value for money.

Wonderful villa, very quiet and amazing location. Was able to cook for the week and enjoy the space. The whole place is absolutely gorgeous: fantastic blue swimming pool, huge rooms, magnificent bathrooms. We had a great time, the location is absolutely amazing for anyone looking for peace and quiet with stunning views

Mohammed’s place was great value for money. It’s a modern, spacious, and fully furnished apartment. Very convenient access to all supermarkets, and other shops. We got a unit on the second floor which had great views from its balconies. We enjoyed the fireworks display from the balconies when the clock struck 12 on 1st Jan 2022. The kitchen has all utensils needed to cook your own meals. However, we noticed there wasn’t a gas cylinder owing to the current situation in the country. Still managed to cook most of our meals using the rice cooker. A hot plate or an induction cooker would be a nice addition. The building manager Mr. Mirzan was very nice and was flexible with all our requests. He made sure our stay at Amaze Residence was a pleasant one. We will definitely visit again.

Stayed here a second time until we flew out of the country. What a comfortable, relaxing place. Great, friendly host!

Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

Ajith was a kind and welcoming host, going beyond what can be expected. I thoroughly recommend staying at his place, and thank him kindly for his help.

This apartment was amazing! Super clean, equipped with everything you need, stylish and located in a quiet and clean area. Nanditha is friendly, responsive and will go above and beyond to ensure your experience! She bought over snacks, her cooking and her famous milk toffees. I would love to stay again when back in Colombo.

Ryan was an exceptional host. Very warm and welcoming. He was also available for us anytime over call or evwn a message. Regarding the stay everything was taken care of as mentioned in the listing. The place is well maintained and organized. The location is at walkable distance from supermarkets like keels and cargills and also from public transport. All kitchen essentials were present for light cooking. Bathrooms had the necessary toileteries. The rooms were spacious. The washing machine was in good condition. Iron provided was good. No issues with internet, electricity and water as well. We stayed at the property for 9 nights and we always felt at home. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Suggestion would be to put a clock in the living area and bedrooms if possible.

Amazing Stay at Fahim’s Place! I recently stayed at Fahim’s place in Colombo, and it was a fantastic experience. The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a hassle-free stay. The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Fahim was an outstanding host, always responsive and ready to assist. I highly recommend Fahim’s place to anyone visiting Colombo and would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

was a fantastic place and nikola and benjamin were super helpful.. the spotlessly clean house was in the middle of the city with many eateries and tourist attractions nearby.. bathroom mats weren't provided by Benjamin responded to all our requests promptly and attended to them. will highly recommend this place..

Nelun's place was perfect, we stayed on first day of our sri lanka vacation and it was the best decission, Place looks exactly like photos and Nelun was very much helpful with insights of local attractions and buses and stuff.

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

I found this as one of the best vacation home as a group. This place had just everything.. private pool, party room, barbecue rooftop, open-air coffee room... I’d highly recommend

First off, this is not in the City Center building, its located in On 320 Union, which is a very large condo complex consisting of 3 towers. The condo is brand new, on the same level as the large pool and well appointed Gym. Extremely safe due to very high security and biometrics based access control. The unit had all the listed appliances and amenities. The living room was a bit small but for 4 adults this should be more than enough space. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. Very good showers with good pressure and very hot water. Suraj was a very good host, great communication and very friendly and flexible.

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

We’ve stayed twice now and both times we have really enjoyed our stay. Very cozy. Highly recommend.
