Pam was a wonderful host,-great communication! Was comfortable place with beautiful ocean views! Clean place and nice touches for Disney Polynesian decor —- We really liked exploring around Fripp Island with golf cart , beautiful island!!

Both the cottage and the location suited us very well. The cottage is quite new and was very clean. We enjoyed sitting on both porches. The beds were very comfortable. Nice kitchen. The whole place was clean. Good neighborhood for walking and the cottage is in a suitable location for a jumping off point to explore the Lowcountry. We hope to return.

Beautiful, nice laidout house perfect for our two families. The back yard views were amazing. Short walk to the private beach #1 which was so walkable at low tide. Very quiet and the dark sky was the selling point. We brought our new telescope and took some amazing photos. Beautiful Hunting Island was very close and the park pass was a nice perk. Felt very safe walking around the neighborhood. Beaufort wasn't far and made for fun day trips. 30 min drive to get groceries so go with a list to avoid multiple drives. The recommended shack looking restaurants were actually extremely clean, larger than expected and had fresh, yummy food. Overall a great stay. Ashley was a great host who was very responsive.

Meredith was speedy with communication and accommodating to special requests. An absolute professional with all the details. The home is exactly as pictured so if you’re looking for frills, flair, and extravagances - keep looking. If you’re looking for soul comforting peace and the nostalgia of your family’s summer cottage - this is it. Upon entering the home you can appreciate the decorative treasures either passed from a generation or found at carefully curated shops. In all the best ways, this is not a home that Wayfair built (except maybe the towels and sheets that are super soft and fluffy.). The views are gorgeous and everything you need to enjoy the stay is provided. Sure there are things that could be updated or refreshed from what looks to be original to the home, but everything is in working condition and just what is needed. After a day golfing, taking in the beautiful beaches of the island, or exploring - this cozy cottage was a treat to return to.

Can’t say enough good things about this sweet cottage. Immaculately clean, easy walk to the beach, and decorated in such fresh, cheerful colors. Plus, they’ve honestly thought of everything, from charging cubes by each bed to a basket of dog blankets. Kitchen has all sorts of pots and pans and baking dishes, nice glassware, and gadgets in the pantry that we would not have expected at a rental property (Instapot, anyone?) We had a minor glitch upon arrival (it’s not a lockbox anymore, it’s a digital doorlock) and even though I was calling late at night, Maya immediately returned my call and got us inside. THANK YOU for excellent communication and the nicest rental experience I’ve ever had, on Airbnb or any platform.

Melissa’s house was spacious, and made for a great vacation for everyone. Just a short walk to the beach. The pool and grill were great to have.

Great stay here! The playground and dog park were a quick walk away. We were also only 20 min walk from some of the downtown spots we enjoyed for lunch. Cute spot and had everything we needed, including cozy beds. Very dog friendly and lots of little touches to make it so. Thanks!

The space was beautiful and adorably decorated. We loved having access to the golf cart...our car stayed parked the entire time. Future stays, during warmer times, the kayaks and bikes would be wonderful. Watching the sunset and a fire in comfy chairs was one of our favorite things. The best thing is how responsive Missy was. She checked on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property if you want a chic, comfy little get away. We're looking forward to staying at her other properties!! <3

Lauren’s place was absolutely beautiful and unique plus sparkling clean and so comfortable. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in! Out of a storybook, she has truly thought of every detail. In addition to the beautiful interior, the front porch is amazing and back yard with pool, hot tub, sauna, and outdoor shower is phenomenal! Lauren is a friendly, responsive and thoughtful host. Any need or question was responded to immediately. 10 out of 10- Highly recommend staying here! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

This was a great place to stay the outside and hot tub was a big plus it was a very walkable place and parking the truck was a breeze. It was the perfect spot for us and the perfect stay. Most definitely would book again. Thanks again Sai

We had a great weekend staying here! Loved the hot tub and games available. The kitchen had nearly everything you'd need. The bed was a bit more firm than we preferred, but overall it was a great place. We wish we had an extra two days!

This is our second time staying at the Salty Mermaid. We hope it is not our last! The place is perfect for the family - even the guys loved the bed swings on the front porch and the added swing near the pool! We requested the pool be heated during our stay (added reasonable cost). We love adventuring out to the beach or into Savannah and coming back to jump in to pool followed by a dip in the hot tub then chatting around the fire pit. Makes for a perfect ending to fun days! Our Thanksgivings at the Salty Mermaid aren’t the traditional turkey fest, but an outdoor grilled feast that may be becoming a new tradition! The place is set up for easy meals but Missy lists several island restaurants nearby. Working out the details with Missy was a breeze! Thank you, Missy, for our new Thanksgiving holiday tradition home away from!

The shotgun row house had a lot of old world charm with modern amenities. We especially loved the quaint patio facing a courtyard perfect for an early morning breakfast to start a day of sight seeing.

We loved our visit to Molly’s house! The house itself is in a great location, close to downtown Savannah, grocery stores and shopping, and a lovely walk by the river. Molly’s house included everything we could need and she was a lovely host. We enjoyed the screened in patio, even in Jan, and the comfy couches and beds. We had a great time on our vacation and definitely recommend Molly’s charming house!

Harbor River Cottage and Sue’s hosting exceeded our expectations. In addition to its extraordinarily beautiful setting, the cottage was both comfortable and welcoming, and we immediately felt at home. Sue attends to every detail and amenity you might imagine, the decor is just right, and it is immaculate. In addition to being very responsive with pre-stay communications, Sue anticipated our needs and so thoughtfully left breakfast for us, knowing we would arrive late after a long drive. While it was our first stay there, and represented a departure from our usual area venues, we hope it will not be our last! It was an exceptional value and totally positive experience, and that’s something these weary travelers can rarely say. PS—our senior mutts loved it too!

Charming home, close to downtown. Parking is easy in private driveway. Mary’s home is warmly decorated and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked great. Everything we needed was there. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Alyssa and Justin’s cottage was great. The house is exactly as shown and as others have mentioned, it was fully stocked with so many amenities and great for cooking. Our plans changed to include an extra dog and then use of the state park pass and they were very responsive and to these requests within the hour. The sheets were clean and soft and the house is very close to the harbor and Main Street of historic Beaufort. Our group of four adults and 2 dogs had a great stay!

This was a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back and visit!!

Katie is a wonderful host, and we enjoyed our stay in her lovely cottage. She is a great communicator who provides a welcoming environment. The cottage is spacious and beautifully decorated with oak floors. It is conveniently located a short distance from the beautiful historic downtown. We appreciate her providing two nice bikes, for the nearby bike trail, and we enjoyed using them. Our family and dogs really enjoyed their stay, and we highly recommend the Lady Bug cottage.
