Hostel vacation rentals in Highland Council

Fantastic spot with cosy interior. Friendly staff and it even happened to be one of the staff member's birthdays and they inclduded anyone and everyone who wanted to be in a friendly celebration. Would reccomend this spot to anyone who wants a warm, family friendly and fun place to stay.

Well customer service. Beautiful location. Easy to find.

The hostel is very colourful :) there are parking spots nearby but you have to pay for them (4£ for 24h if I remember it right). The bathroom was okay, considered it is an old building and many people using it. The kitchen was huge and very well equiped, you can only use the stovetop until 21:30 pm due to safety reasons. We didn't understand where to get the washing pulver for the washing machine from. There are a few pubs in Portree and you can visit cool places on they isle from there!

It was just a very nice accommodation, perfect for people traveling on a tighter budget. You get all the necessities you need for a nice stay.

True to the description and great value for money, especially for the Isle of Skye. A slight area of improvement on cleanliness but it's still very decent

The bunkhouse is perfectly situated in Aviemore, right next to a lovely pub and burn. It's a perfect place to recoup after multi-day wild camping or mt biking. It's my go-to accommodation in Aviemore.

We had a wonderful stay! We were a group of 5 and enjoyed getting to be together in a private space with our own bathroom. Great location, easy check in and very comfortable. Owen was very responsive and had great recommendations. The pub next door gets busy so reserve a time to eat if you can. Beautiful scenery and a quiet location. We would definitely stay again!

Really worth the price paid for! Private room that comfortably fits 2, extremely clean when we checked in. They even provided some biscuits which was a nice touch! Bathroom was clean with complete facilities, and the shared kitchen was fully stocked up with the proper cutleries and utensils too, they even had free tea, coffee and hot chocolate! The host gave us a short tour upon checking in which was really helpful to get us familiarised with the property’s facilities. Really recommend this place 10/10, can’t go wrong when in Inverness!

This was our first hostel stay, and we had a great time! The location is super convenient if you’re taking public transportation around Skye, as the main square where all the buses stop is right across the street! Theres lovely shops and restaurants all within a few minute walk from the hostel and the town is lovely! The hostel itself was also very well kept and clean, and our room at the end of the hall still felt very private and comfortable! The staff were all very nice and overall we had a great stay. Definitely recommend this listing if you’re visiting Skye as a group!
