Beachfront vacation rentals in Helen's Bay

We had a lovely stay at John's place. The accommodation was clean, cosy and well-decorated. The view from the patio windows was incredible. Lots of lighting options and excellent cooking facilities and bathrooms, which are important for comfort and convenience. You are within 5 minutes' walk of a local Eurospar, coffee shops, pubs and a couple of fine restaurants. Walkers will also love proximity to Murlough nature reserve and the Mournes. We look forward to returning at another time.

We had a relaxing break away and would definitely recommend. No noise can be heard from the house, and when you open the doors or windows, all you hear is the ocean. The beach is on your doorstep. You can walk along the coastline to Ballywalter when the tide is out- approx 2.5km. The house has a relaxing feel, and beautifully furnished with all amenities needed; very cosy and comfortable.

3rd time staying, love this appartment as it in the middle of the main street beside everything. The appartment is very clean, beds very cosy . And it has everything you need in it . Would highly recommend this place

Steen’s cottage was immaculate, cosy and tastefully renovated. We had a very enjoyable and peaceful time and the welcome pack was a thoughtful addition. There were lots of lovely walks nearby and a beautiful outlook. Highly recommended.

we stayed for two nights with 3 adults plenty of room for everyone. The location is beautiful really didn't want to leave but already looking at our next stay . Feb the weather was wet and windy but that did not stop us from wrapping up warm and going for long walks . I really love the cottage and the area the only trouble was we didn't want to leave .

Peaceful with great views. The hosts had provided many helpful things to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, from a bag of logs, plenty of kitchen equipment, toiletries, to lots of information on amenities. The beds were clean and comfy. A great base to explore from, with cracking views across the Lough. The enclosed garden was great for our dog.

Second visit Took the opportunity of having a second stay in this delightful fisherman's cottage. So clean and cosy. We took advantage of using the wood burner and spent cosy nights listening to the wind swirling around the cottage. Excellently equipped kitchen - totally as described. Host proactive and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend ,- but hey leave a few dates free as we want to go back for another stay!

A truely fabulous locatoon, beautiful and peaceful. The house was perfect for us to enjoy a family Christmas. Thank you very much, we really enjoyed our stay! A highlight was seeing seals frolicking in the bay...

Fabulous apartment with stunning ever changing views of the sea and sky. Immaculately kept with everything you need. Warm and cosy and really appreciated the goodies left for us on our arrival. This was our third visit to this apartment and we will be back. It’s a home from home. Thank you Holly and Peter.

This house and location are amazing. The whole experience wonderful (1st time with Airbnb) . House was spotless and Shayne a very responsive host answering any questions we had. Would totally recommend if you’re looking for some peace and quiet with great views but also with a great restaurant/bar/coffee shop within walking distance.

Kate’s house was wonderful. Very clean, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. Right in the heart of the village and beside the ferry. Very peaceful with gorgeous views I’ll be back!!

The stay at Trevor's house was very pleasant. The house lived up to the description in every way and Trevor was a very nice host.

We had a lovely two night stay at the cabin. You had everything you needed for a short getaway and the little extras Myrtle had in the cabin were just fantastic! Stephen & Myrtle were such great hosts and nothing was too much to ask for them. The cabin is the perfect location to relax and unwind over looking Portmuck harbour. We were lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunrise sitting in the hot tub with a cup of tea what more could you want in life! We will be back when we need another child free night away ☺️ Thank you again! Adrian & Orla x
