Amanda’s place is a great stay, quiet and cosy. It was easy to find, check in and Amanda was very responsive and accommodating throughout. Would stay again!

Stayed one night , absolutely perfect for my requirements , in that I have dogs and there was a private area for them to mooch round in , as well as plenty of on leash space to walk them. The ‘Military Vehicle’ hut was a cosy more than adequate place to stay. I will most definitely use again and more than happy to recommend to friends 👍

The epitome of a hidden gem! From the moment we booked Birkloft we knew we were in for a wonderful time away, Liz and Ed ooze top class hospitality, their communication was fantastic, from explaining how to check in, to recommending local eateries, and more! What once was an old granary, now restored and transformed into the perfect retreat, with an upside down layout that felt like a huge warm blanket wrapping us up as soon as we walked through the door, every single detail was considered and catered for, with an exposed brick lounge and kitchen area giving a nod to the history of the building, to the cosy, downstairs beamed bedroom, rich in colour with the most comfiest bed we’ve EVER slept in…It was perfect, relaxing and a beautiful haven to spend time in Everything was top class, it is clear so much thought has gone into making this very special place somewhere that makes you not want to leave. Thank you to the most wonderful hosts, we can’t wait to see you and Birkloft again.
