My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We loved these accommodations which looked just like the pictures. Very convenient location right across the street from a local grocery store, walking distance to shops and restaurants, private back yard facing the Trent River and a lovely deck to enjoy nature and the Blue Jays and chipmunks that came to visit. Very friendly and accommodating hosts that went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our visit. The entire home was very clean, great bed linens and all the amenities you could wish for. My only disappointment was that I didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy this beautiful home to its fullest because the eleven days we spent here was preparing for our daughter’s wedding and we had a long task list. Hopefully our next visit, and there will be a next visit, will be less busy and relaxing so we can fully enjoying everything this accommodation has to offer. Looking forward to our next stay already!

We had a fantastic winter weekend at the Postmaster's House. It's perfectly located for enjoying Prince Edward County. The house is cozy and comfortable - it looks like just the photos. Trevor is a great host, and is quick to respond to messages. Definitely recommended!

Our stay at The Gem was a lovely getaway from the city. The hosts made check-in easy, communication was seamless and the placed was spotless plus easy to keep clean This beautiful farmhouse had everything our family needed to relax, from multiple bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy to a cozy reading area and an open-concept kitchen ideal for preparing meals together. Though we were tempted by local dining, we preferred to stay in and enjoy our time at the farmhouse! The backyard was great for playing with our dog, who loved the long leash while we enjoyed the hot tub! Because of it being cooler weather, we didn’t get to take advantage of the gorgeous barn with the harvest table - having heating options for cooler months would be amazing. Next time! The Gem is a short drive away to Sandbanks, and the beautiful wineries and local markets were worth the scenic drive to visit! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend The Gem for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

Everything was great at Scott and Jasmine’s place !! Great location and comfortable beds !! Hot tub was great,Fully equipped kitchen and all the amenities one might need ! Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future!!

This property is lovely in the spring and winter. This was our third stay. Our dogs enjoy the fields, woods, and stream. We loved the quiet and our long walks around the perimeter. At night we would sit by the fire. There are three fireplaces from which to choose. Thank you again Susan for an awesome experience!

Brendan's place is absolutely stunning - beautiful property with adorable farm animals, access to water, a pool, everything you'd need for a great weekend, really. Thank you for providing a perfect location for our after-wedding celebration.

Jay was a great host. Since I was a new profile, we went through a vetting process, including sharing my LinkedIn profile, but after that, everything went smoothly. The property is beautiful, with a lot of personality, especially when you look down into the kitchen from the main family room. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, cutlery, cookware, and spices for meals, and has a fantastic stove. Some dials were finicky, and the middle grill burner wasn’t working, but we still made it work. The hot tub was perfect for the cold weather, and we appreciated the pool towels provided. We also enjoyed the Christmas decorations upon arrival. Overall, we loved our stay—the place had so much charm. On a final note, we’d definitely visit again. If the mattresses were replaced with higher-quality ones, something more comfortable, it would elevate the experience.

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

We are three couples (and two dogs) who rented the place for two nights for a winter getaway. The house was fantastic for our group. The hot tub and sauna provided some fun activities on site. The open concept bar/kitchen and dining and living areas were perfect for this kind of get together. The view was beautiful -- this lake house is in fact right on the lake. The location was fantastic -- a scenic 15 min drive to Wellington for adventures and dining out. Heather was communicative and great to deal with. We didn't have any snow, but the driveway was quite steep and I would suggest you consider 4WD and winter tires if you're planning on coming when it's snowy/icy. For beds, there's a king and a queen, and then the other rooms/bunkie have futons or bunk bed set ups... it worked well for our group, but just FYI.

Our stay at Mike’s cottage on Rice Lake was wonderful! The location was beautiful, and Mike was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and attentive to every detail, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thank you, Mike, for being such a fantastic host!

We loved staying here! The hot tub was the highlight for us but really the place had everything we needed for a friends reunion weekend! The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, which we used as we love cooking for ourselves rather than eating out. We played ping pong, had a bon fire, played video games, watched a movie, walked around the neighborhood, and soaked in the hot tub 8 times in just a weekend. It was perfect!

Bertrand is a super great host, and was very responsive. We had 14 people for three days over Christmas, and the house was well equipped to handle that number. Very well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable. the property is beautiful.

Always a great time at this place i keep coming back. I love how friendly these folks are. I feel very at home here I will be back.

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

Donna’s place was an excellent place to stay for a reunion of 4 friends. It is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, including some basic supplies and a ‘welcome’ fruit basket. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed many hours on the back porch and side sitting area. Donna was very easy to communicate with and at all times helpful and available. All 4 of us agreed that it was a great experience and we would be pleased to recommend this home to others. We would be happy to return. Thanks Donna!

This was our second stay here and we loved it yet again. Private hottub is always so nice and a snowy walk on the trail right around the corner never disappoints. George was very helpful and quick to fix any issue we had

Our stay was great. House was ultra clean, and beautifully decorated. Bed were very comfortable, great shower and water pressure, beautiful sunsets. Cricket was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We enjoyed playing ping pong, cooking, relaxing while doing puzzles together. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you so much Cricket for everything Nathalie

Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Thank you Sally for an incredible stay!

The Tiny Home was perfect for a weekend trip for two! I will say, emphasis on tiny. If you are over 5'11 this home is too small for you. The Home had all of the useful amenities needed for cooking or even re-heating leftovers. The inside was cozy and very warm. We were unsure if the House would be drafty, but instead it was very warm and cozy! We also loved that there were trails to explore around the property and that there was a hot tub ! The hosts explained they had experienced some issues with the hot tub, in that the fuse would sometimes short circuit. On the first night we got to use the hot tub for a bit before realizing that the circuit breaker had tripped. The hosts were very quick to respond and walked us through how to switch the breaker on/off and offered suggestions to ensure that it doesn't short circuit again. This meant that the hot tub needed all day to warm up, so instead of using it in the afternoon we waited until it had warmed up to use in the evening.
