Monthly Rentals in Havana Lake

Loved my stay. If you like being out in the country away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. After a long day of traveling I was able to get a great restful sleep in the comfortable, quiet and dark bedroom. I stayed for 2 nights and the cottage had everything I needed for my stay. I appreciated the privacy and as a woman traveling alone I felt safe and secure. I visited with Crystal, her daughter and some very cute farm animals and they were all warm and welcoming. I hope to stay here each and every-time I return to Independence, Kansas.

This is a beautiful property with so many things to do. My grandkids loved playing pool in the basement and fishing in the lake. The adults loved the peaceful surroundings and the views. It was an ideal location for family photos. We had a difficult time getting the heat to come on in the basement, but my son figured it out. So many thermostats! There were also a lot of stains on the carpets. Things that would have made it better: A working fireplace Another queen bed upstairs Ability to get enough hot water for the tub. Beautiful place. Quiet area. super clean and cute inside. We will definitely be back.

Stayed for a week and will return for the rest of the month and then we’ll leave final review. So far I’m 100% happy!
